Jazz vs Wolves

Not to mention the fact that lebron was a once in a millennium high school player.
Never been a high schooler like him before or after

I'll agree with that.

Lebron was funner to watch when he was a lot younger. His rookie year he was insanely fast.

It's not just the numbers, when watching the game tonight I would forget wiggins was on the floor. He doesn't have IT. Towns has IT. Levine has a spark. Minny would never do it, but they might be better off trading wiggins to Phoenix for Devin Booker. The spot up 3pointers by Booker would be spread out the floor so wonderfully for towns.

Although, Wiggings does attack very strong, maybe they keep wiggins and ditch Rubio for Lavine to start or get a pg who can shoot threes.

Rubio is probably the best defensive PG in the NBA. He'a also by far the best passer and playmaker on the team. I think he ranks #5 overall in the NBA in RPM.

The Wolves would be damned fools to let him go.

Watching the game, it seems like he sucks though

I don't know, reading Timberwolves fans opinions and they really don't want Lavine as a point guard.

I can see why. He is a little loose with his handles sometimes. But he's still only 20. It's like that keeps getting forgotten in the whole thing. He should be nowhere near a finished product yet. He can make a nice pass. He reads the pick and roll pretty well. I think it's possible he could be a point guard. It's something I'd keep experimenting with if I'm the Wolves. It can't hurt.

I don't know if that's true. The Timberwolves don't hold down point guards too well. They are towards last in the league.

The Celtics do the best against point guards. The combination of Thomas, Bradley, and Smart has been dominant this season.

Also, take into account Rubio's DRPM is probably boosted by the fact that his backup is a terrible defender, LaVine.

Ya, I suppose he's doing something right, but it's hard to see watching. I would say Marcus Smart, Dellevedova, Chris Paul, Kyle Lowry, and a few others look like better defenders.

In just don't feel like he has a huge impact on the game.

Are his numbers being boosted by his steals and rebounds?

He had an off game tonight.

The Jazz can take the 8th spot back tonight, 8½pt favorites in this one. Expecting a strong showing, and dare I say a bounceback game from Neto..

Sorry to toot my own horn.. but... TOOT TOOT mother****ers!!! 9 pts, 6 assists, 1 turnover.

RPM stats are based on: (1) strength of your teams' players on the floor with you; (2) strength of other team's players on the floor with you; and (3) point differential of your team versus other team while player is on the floor.

How your team performs while you are on the bench does not have an effect.

Rubio has been elite DRPM even when Lavine was at UCLA.

Lol, but u love tooting your own horn

It's games like this when the Jazz win and look good doing it that gets me so excited for the future. Can't wait for the return 2 for Burks. I feel that with the emergence of Hood our core is set. Hood ,Hayward, Favors, and Burks are all capable of taking over games. When Exum develops, and I believe he will, wow!! Also, add in Gobert's Elite defense and rim protection this team as constituted is going to be scary good. I'm hoping we can also add an upgrade or two on the bench as well.

But will Hood revert to his earlier level of play when Burks returns? Hood emerged last year when Burks was hurt, leading us to believe our wing problem was solved. But even though Hood started over Burks, he sucked for the first two months of this season. It wasn't until January, when Burks was out, that Hood's game picked up where he left it at the end of last season.

My worry is that Hood may be deferring to the "senior" man at his position in order to avoid conflict and it's impacting his court play. I hope I am wrong.
