What's new

Jazz @ Warriors | Friday November 5th @ 8:30pm

GS has 22 MORE SHOTS than the Jazz. Utah is getting outrebounded by the midgets.
This team blows and Raja really sucks eggs. If he can't defend, he's not worth jack. I'd cut his sorry *** and bring back Othyus.

yep the jazz broadcast definitely zoomed in on kicky

(used to have an account on the old forum, finally decided to make a new account)

Yes, and that's why matchups matter.

Fortunately Sloan finally got smart and put in some height for Jefferson. Evidence? Nearly team-worst +/- for AJ vs. team-best for Elson. CJ for AK is part of that; the benefit such a substitution is less clear, except that AK is sucking. Also, Bell's PFs forced Sloan to make the smart decision of playing price over the aging Bell.

Kudos also for Sloan to sub in AJ for Millsap so that there is one PF and one C in the game against the Warrior's new height. Let's see if it holds out, because Sloan is bound to go back to Millsap + Jefferson.

Blunder: Price misses a 2-handed dunk; nobody follows him up, symbolically of nobody going after rebounds.
CJ follows it up with an uncontested airball 3.

Nevertheless, Utah is down 3, 64-61

Kudos for Kicky giving a kickback in order to get on TV. Poetically, SKA isn't getting more court time than Fes tonight. Fortunately Elson is doing OK; not great.

this could easily be the worst game of basketball i have ever watched. it's got everything you could ever want in a sucky game.

Quite possibly the worst display of basketball I've ever seen. Missed dunk by Price and then Miles airballs a 3 that hits Elson in the head.

My problem is- missed shots happen from time to time. Even missed dunks and airballed 3's. Getting killed on the boards is effort based thing.

deron needs to take better control of the ball. I think the jazz offense will look a lot more polished when he gets his confidence and the rest of the players start getting regular easy baskets each game. I haven't seen that happening so far.

I think al jeff isn't ready for the ball some of the time. maybe that's just not being used to passing from other frontcourt players (ak) or he's got bad hands.

cj is a powerful weapon. I love the hate for miles. he's matured into a real nba player, I wonder if some of you saw it for the first time tonight when he hurt his ankle and how much that affected the jazz's ability to score at that point in this game.

would like to see more emotion from the team. I see it from raja and from price... but I'm not sure it's out there from every player. like a lot of players just going through the motions.. that's tough to watch.

guess you just gotta hit your shots though... 78 points aint gonna really beat anybody most nights in this league

clippers look good though, gotta come out fresh tomorrow and try to gel.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills today.

Felt like August in November.
4 time defending 4a champ Timpview lost to Springville today.
Utah is getting killed on the glass by the GS Warriors of all teams in a low scoring grind it out game. Could someone seriously explain to me how and why this is happening? Was boozer really that good and was getting Lee really that essential? They're killing us with O rebounds.

Is the moon red tonight? Will BYU pass for over 300 yards tomorrow while Utah runs a blast play up the middle on 3rd and long to set up a pathetic attempt at a FG?

Terrible effort tonight. Absolutely terrible. If you told me the Warriors would finish the game with 85 points and we would lose then I would call you a liar. Wow, Jefferson has 2 blocks for hands. Can't catch the ball. Can't box out. Kirilenko, don't get me started. This team is either finding its identity or we are in for a disappointing year.

Too many offensive rebounds were given up. On the plus side it was a solid defensive effort. The Jazz typically give one away in the Bay Area every year, so I guess some things stay the same.
