If Noel were willing to be a defensive specialist like Dennis Rodman, that could work for us, and would make him #1. I'd play him as part of a Big 3 lineup, and he'd smother people out on the floor while crashing for every rebound and trailing the break.

Burks
Hayward
Noel
Favors
Kanter

Kanter needs 22-foot range to make that work.

Mid-way through his freshman season he was set to beat Anthiny Davis' all-time shot-blocking record and Rondo's all-time steal record, both. I think his commitment to defense is absolute.. it's his offense that leaves question marks.

I had a dream last night. I was in a canoe. It tipped. I swam to shore. The shore was full of beautiful women.

Oh so you made it back home safe? Why did none of you many groupies come out with you in the first place?

went Burke, for he is arguably the best PG available in this draft.
add one of Larkin, MCW or Wolters and you have a nice bunch of young PGs.

I'm not convinced that in 3 years from now that Burke will be the best PG from this draft class. I think he is the most NBA ready of all PG's in this draft but I don't see as high of a ceiling as others like MCW (who I loathe), Larkin (who I'm so-so on), McCollum (who I like) and Schroeder (who I am the highest on). Burke will be good for a team that lacks direction but he will not get them over the hump long-term.

Noel is a job killer. He is almost guaranteed to bust with no offense and being too light to guard anyone. Yet, some GM will take him really high because some owner read on ESPN that Noel is awesome and that guy will be fired in two years when Noel is injured more often than someone who gets injured a lot.

Garbage draft at the top.

You don't think that he has at least the potential to be Larry Sanders? I think a Larry Sanders type is a top 5 pick in this draft.

I think Sanders is exactly who he can become. But I expect more than 9 and 9 from a top 10 pick. Sanders is a good player and could be key third/fourth guy, but I want more from a top 10 pick.

I dunno, maybe if you're Cleveland, and already have Kyrie and think you can get LeBron, then Noel looks really good.
