Jazzfanz ALL-TIME Fantasy Draft

Orangello: Jordan, Barkley, Sabonis, CP3, Mullin

CP3 can't guard Penny, Barkley can't guard Amar'e, Mullin can't remotely guard KG, Sabonis can't guard Wilt (4 mismatches)
Nique guards CP, Penny guards Jordan, Amare guards Mullin, KG guards Barkely, Wilt guards Sabonis: (1 or 2 mismatches)

I like this match-up

Hack: Shaq, Durant, Wade, Griffin, Payton

Shaq/Wilt is a wash, Wade/Nique is slightly in Nique's favor, but could be a wash, Durant has to guard KG, Griffin/Amar'e is slighty in Amar'e's favor (call it 2 mismatches)
Wilt guards Shaq, Penny guards Wade, KG guards Durant, Amar'e guards Griffin, Nique guards Payton

This could go either way, but my advantage is whomever Durant has to guard in the frontcourt and Nique posting Wade.

Enes: Stockton, Dwight, Pippen, Gasol, Gervin

Stockton can't guard Penny, Dwight gives up size to Wilt, Gasol can't guard Amar'e, Pippen has to guard KG, and likely Gervin guards Nique (3 mismatches)
Nique guards Stockton, Wilt guards Dwight, Amare guards Gasol, KG guards Pippen, Penny guards Gervin (maybe 1 or 2 mismatches depending on Gervin/Pippen)

I like this match-up.

PKM: Magic, Dr. J, Baylor, Rodman, Bynum

Magic is slow for Penny, Dr. J and Nique are a wash, Baylor can't guard KG, Rodman can't guard Amar'e, Bynum will struggle with Wilt (3 or 4 mismatches)
Penny guards Magic, Nique guards Dr. J, KG guards Baylor, Amar'e guards Rodman, Wilt guards Bynum (1 mismatch based on Magic in the post)

I should win this match-up.

These are the first 4 teams. I could do this with the others. The toughest match-up is Spycam's team.

I would sincerely appreciate anyone's input as to whether Rodman could have guarded Stoudemire..

Will Griffin be a great player in the future? Quite possibly.

His current incarnation is very limited though. When he goes against a disciplined defense he just isn't that great.

But with all the talent I have around him, he doesn't need to be the focus. He would compliment nicely. Everyone else's team will have their handsful with Shaq Durant and Wade. Griffin can just play a role for me. He can play cleanup, bailouts, and rebounds.

It just seems bizarre to me that you're going to have a nice role player (averaged > 10ppg for 3 seasons and had a starting slot for 5 seasons in a 15-season career) closing games in an All-Time Draft, and especially when you've worked hard to convince everyone that Blake Griffin is some mixture of Karl Malone and Michael Jordan.

Oh well.

See that's just it. I didn't make my team for stats. I have guys playing particular roles.

You can't deny that their wasn't something special about Horry. Not only was he a clutch shooter, he was a good defender too. Ask Spurs fans what they think about Horry.

And also, I am not even done drafting. I still have one more role player to draft.

Stoudemire gets very frustrated when teams get physical with him. Malone and Rodman are all about physicality. That's a win for Rodman.

On a side note, Rodman and Stoudemire are complete opposites. Rodman uses hard work and physicality to win. Stoudemire is about finesse and athleticism. It all comes down to heart and if that is the case then that is a win for Rodman. Stoudemire doesn't have heart.

I would say he could. That was a nice pick PKM. Rodman is truly not overrated.

Dude was a bad ***. He was this junk yard dog type that would just go get the ball for you. Completely selfless and the perfect role player. But what people often forget is his offense wasn't that bad either. He could score if he wanted too.

You stole my pick.

BTW, I am waiting for my last pick before I waste any time explaining my team to Catchall and his reasons for why his team will beat mine.
