Jazzfanz ALL-TIME Fantasy Draft

Spycam is on. Please restore order to the universe. Things have been getting dramatic with people talking about quitting and cutting back on the number of rounds again.

With my 5th pick, the Spycams select...

VINCE CARTER
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9HbHGACgxc

- 1x Olympic Gold Medalist
- 8x All-Star
- Led All-Star fan voting 4 times
- Slam Dunk Champ
- 37th player to ever reach 20,000 career points
- Led Toronto to their first three playoff appearances
- best statistical season: 27.5 points / 5.9 rebounds / 4.7 assists

Arguably the best in game dunker of all time, Carter was incredible at moving without the ball, making him a perfect piece to surround Lebron with. Those two in the fast break would be even more deadly than what we've seen from Wade/James. Carter was much more than a dunker, however. He shot over 40% from 3 twice in his career, and has a career average of over 37%, which will greatly help spread the floor for Robinson and Ewing down low. He was a great passer, averaging about 5 assists 5 times in his career. As great at moving without the ball Allen and Carter were, they were both more than capable of initiating the offense from the top of the key, and would do so plenty. This will allow Lebron to play off the ball, as well, instead of having to run the offense 100% of the time for my starting 5. Carter adds everything I need: someone to move without the ball for Lebron to find for ferocious dunks, a great 3 point shooter to spread the floor for my bigs, someone worthy of running the fast break with Lebron, a great passing wing who can help run the offense (along with Allen) to take some of the burden off of Lebron. Carter rules.

PG- Lebron James
SG- Ray Allen
SF- Vince Carter
PF David Robinson
C- Patrick Ewing

Thank God, spycam showed .. was getting hard staying positive for the bunch and trying to reason..

Thanks.

I just updated the picks on the first page. Let me know if any of them are wrong, I had to skim through the posts really quick.

What exactly has been going on? People are thinking of not going to 10 again? And what's happening with Catchall?

Just laugh it off .. just folks being weinies on purpose, ***uredly. (Franklin started it .. shhhh)

Lol, k.

Other than my recent absence, things have been moving pretty smoothly, guys. This was never meant to be something that gives you a huge adrenaline rush, it was supposed to last a few weeks and help make the remainder of the off season more fun in terms of basketball. Try to enjoy it, not stress out if someone has something going on that prevents them from picking right away. Just have fun with this while it lasts--I know I am.

Just wanted to say: I think Dumars went pretty late. Finals MVP, one of the best defenders of all-time (even according to Jordan), and a good personality to boot. Him and Zeke were Probably the best backcourt of all-time.

Catchall's next pick.
Rounding out the starting five, at Power Forward, 6'10" 245 lbs, from Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, Florida:

Amare Stoudemire

Highlights:

Averaged 26 pts. and 9 boards, while leading the league with 9.9 FTAs/game in 2004/05
Playoff averages increased to 30 ppg and 11 rpg on 54% shooting that year, despite being keyed in on by opposing defenses.
Nash doesn't win both those MVP awards and Phoenix doesn't play that speed without building the system around Amare.

All-NBA 1st Team in 2007; 2nd team in 04/05 and 07/08
Elite athlete with unmatched speed, quickness and explosiveness for his size
Comfortable shooting range out to 20 feet, which makes him a double scoring threat. Virtually unguardable near the rim.
