Well looks to me like this contest is wide open...


Could someone tell me how the final design will be chosen? Will Jason personally choose the winning design? Will the Mods vote on it? Or will it be put to vote here on Jazzfanz (I don't like this last option as it could come down to a popularity contest).

As far as I know it's Jason's choice. Which is fine with me, as I like a lot of them and I'm a bit of an indecisive jackass. I kind of dig the mountain backgrounds, partially because while the players will change as long as the Jazz are in SLC the Wastach front won't. And as an outsider who has been to SLC a handful of times, they are the first thing that comes to mind (well them, the Jazz, and the Temple) when I think of SLC.

I do like the pose.. the font is a bit simplistic though for a log... it's just a plain arial font right??? I'd prefer a font with a bit more character.. but I do like the pose.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I was going for simplistic with this one to be on par with the rest of the site and not stray too far from the current banner typeface and appearance. It's not Arial.

Jason, if there is anything you want me to try with this concept - different tagline or no tagline or whatever, just let me know.

That's not a slur or nothin', but I just get the feeling that two members of the same font that you used have strong feelings for each other and might end up on a deserted island someday with 98 other like-minded fonts. THEN where will we be? Up **** Creek, that's where. So, in short, it's gay.
