Lol I don’t think I’ve ever received a vote from you. You can say whatever you want but I literally never have. I think you have some ulterior motives.
Probably becuse you always draft like someone who plays NBA 2K and just pick a bunch of young dudes who havent proven anything (like nearly always for your bench and sometimes for your starters) and you try to convince us development is a linear path that is a guarantee.

Hayward plays on a WAY better team. I’d pretty comfortably say Barrett outscores him next year.
Scoring is one piece of the puzzle. Hayward is a better defender, playmaker, more efficient. Its not like Gordon is 36, so he shouldn't see a drop off unless he gets hurt again. RJ might score more ppg but it will be in a far uglier fashion.

This was my team last year that got waxed in the 2nd round:

PG - Ben Simmons / Ja Morant
SG - Donovan Mitchell / Evan Fournier
SF - Jayson Tatum / RJ Barrett
PF - Kyle Kuzma / James Johnson
C - Clint Capela / DeAndre Ayton

That lineup includes picks 13, 14, 25, 39, and 64 picks from this current draft. That’s 4 players in the top-39. That team would win this years competition handedly if I picked a different PF.

I must not be that bad at projecting for the future.

Flat out Lillard is the best player on either team. It's not even close.

Some of WC's best players are in a harsh decline and constantly injured (BG) or are very old and it's fair to expect some decrease in effectiveness (Paul). Then the bench is a bunch of dudes I would never draft for this thing, like Fultz/Hunter/Barrett who have not proven in any way they contribute positively to winning. Graham is a solid bench scorer, but he's also up there for worst defensive player in the NBA. Jonas is solid as a backup C as well, but Theis is way better.

Em packed his team with positionally versatile defensive studs (Theis, Thybulle, Smart, Isaac, and Clarke) and really smart team defenders like Rubio/Hayward/Adams/Middleton) to complement a huge volume scorer like Lillard.

I havent been a huge Lillard guy in the past, but he's having a Steph Curry adjacent season right now.

Dude you’re a full blown idiot. Straight up.

"Then the bench is a bunch of dudes I would never draft for this thing, like Fultz/Hunter/Barrett who have not proven in any way they contribute positively to winning."

Proceeds to applaud Eminence for drafting Thybulle, Issac, and Clarke.

It’s also fair to expect a decrease in effectiveness due to age but not a potential increase due to age.

It’s comical. You really can’t make this **** up.

Thybulle, Clarke, an Issac have proven themselves as plus defensive players....

You're 3 havent done that. It's just facts. Those 3 guys on Em's team each have a case for 2nd team all defense.

For instance WC:

Here is the combined Defensive Box Plus Minus for RJ/Hunter/Fultz: -3.1

Here is the combined DBPM for Isaac/Thbulle/Clarke: 6.7

So no, my reasoning isnt personal, it's has reasoning. Please stop crying like a little baby.

I dont even have to project improvement. These dudes are defensive studs, even if they dont improve one iota.

Thybulle and Clarke combine to play less than 40 mins a game. They don’t have a case.

Also, I agree with a lot of what you say outside of this. When it comes to this though you suck.

Obviously. I mean I was the 1 and 2 seed both sim seasons which is likely far more accurate than this voting stuff. Maybe you'll get them next year.

Thanks for comparing one of his starters with my three bench players. You’re a real winner. Again not a coincidence that you’ve never voted for me once even when I have made it to the Finals multiple times.

@Saint Cy of JFC you’ve yet to acknowledge this. Doesn’t match up with what you’re saying so I don’t expect you to.

What do you want me to say exactly? Do you want me to change my (correct) stance that younger players who are unproven are a bigger risk than vets who have proven skill-sets just because you picked Ja Morant last year?

We have a difference of opinion on this ****. Stop being a cry baby about it.

You are the one who called those 3 out....

My track record projecting young players to improve in the future looks pretty good. You’re opinion is routinely contrarian ********. You’ll be on the losing end of this vote (again) but what else is new.
