Dallas owes Dirk Nowitzki 8.3 and Chandler Parsons 15.3 next season. If Ellis opts in he will make 9 million.

The only other players they have under contract next year are Devin Harris (4m) and Gal Mekel (1m).

I said they take Vaughn because I think he has the highest upside in a position that is difficult to fill. Plus Dallas is a big enough stage for Vaughn. They need something for the post Nowitzki era.

Im really interested to see what dallas does in the draft and FA. They pulled an old Jazz trick and tried to reload with old veterans around their old veteran and got similar results to the post 1999 jazz...a first round bounce.

Cuban is wild, I expect them to be active, but I don't know what they have to work with. I would smile if Dallas had a nice 6-7 year run of lottery picks.

They need a PG especially one that can play with Ellis. Ellis could guard 1s and Wright could guard 2s. Offense might be tough as both need the ball in their hands and don't play well off the ball.

This is horrible, Winslow at #5 is laughable, Porzingis at #6 is laughable.

To be fair, this thing has been going for weeks now. A lot of guys are rising and falling daily. . . but some of the choices for this mock are outdated.
