Jazz's Remaining Schedule is the Easiest in the League

So that would get the Jazz to 53 or 54 wins.

In order to catch the Jazz, the Suns would then have to finish 11-2 or 12-1. I think they're more likely to finish 9-4 or maybe 10-3.

Right now, I think 53 wins is the magic number to keep the #1 seed.

So apparently we can count both remaining wolves games as losses.
 
So, if we win tonight against the Wolves, Phoenix loses to NY and the Clippers lose to New Orleans, I'd say that is a likely wrap on the 1st seed.

We're probably not that lucky to have all 3 dominoes fall into place on the same night but it could happen!
 
If the Jazz can finish 8-4 from here, that should probably do it. The Clippers would have to win all of their remaining 10 games, and the Suns would have to finish 10-2 to get ahead of the Jazz. The Suns still have the Knicks (twice), Clippers and Lakers (likely with Lebron back), plus some other losable games.

Jazz also want the Mavs to get hot and hold off the Lakers for the 5th seed.
 
That Wolves game y'all. Really not feeling good about all the usage Ingles and Conley have to put in to maintain our seed. :/

Good call.
I went from hating the trade and being a Conley hater to loving almost every aspect of his game. I feel very confident in his three ball, he has a nice floater, his playmaking is about as good as anyone else on the team, his defense is solid, and he has a presence about him that seems to have a calming effect on his teammates. Good leader.

Since Conley is the nicest guy in the history of the NBA, it was very uncomfortable when I didn’t like the way he was playing or how it appeared we’d mortgaged our future to get him. But while I still think there are some bad long-term implications of the trade—and that we realistically only have this year as our best shot at a championship—I really like rooting for Mike. I can forget about the noise and just cheer for him. It’s great.
 
If Mitchell and Conley are both going to be out vs. Phoenix, I would consider holding out Gobert, Ingles and Favors and just tossing the game against the Suns.

Let guys rest on the B2B and focus on getting 7 or 8 more wins during the rest of the schedule. We can still get to 52 wins.
