In multiple other threads people have stated that they expect either Clarkson, Collins, or both to be traded. This thread is to discuss potential landing spots/cost to trade them.

Collins played really well at the end of last season and I don't think it's too unrealistic to think a team would believe he can help them. Finding a team that needs an offensive oriented C at that price tag is still very difficult, however. I think SAC is a good fit and there could be a trade centered around Huerter/Lyles as they need a better backup big situation. NOP could be a player in an Ingram trade/fallout from an Ingram trade.

I have a harder time with Clarkson. I don't think there are many teams if at all that think he can help them win. We will likely have to rely on the power of friendship or a massive jump in quality of play from last season. Even if he plays well, there aren't many teams that are looking for this type of player.

From some of the comments Tony has made in interviews over the offseason, it sounds like the front office would like to trade them but there doesn't seem to be a market for either one of them right now.

I went with Clarkson, but I think he has like a 40% chance of getting traded and Collins has like a 20% chance of getting traded. I think we would like to trade them both, but Clarkson is more likely to get to neutral value at the trade deadline.

Luck will have to break the Jazz's way along with solid play from both of them if they are to be traded. Maybe an injury happens to a player on expiring and Utah can deal to that team for a 2nd rounder type of deal.

Like maybe Ingram goes down with a season ender

At this point trade JC’s AND all of the second round picks. I want them gone!!

For as much talk about how we’re going to trade them in other threads, I definitely agree with those in this thread that are seeing the difficulty in it actually happening. Something in the landscape must change. It would have happened already if it could.

I wish I had the confidence that 58% of the poll respondents have that either or both will be moved. The market isn't there.

Most think something will happen, nobody can name the scenario where it happens. The landscape will have to change and/or we’ll have to get lucky.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that fans are overly optimistic about things, but many are so confident that things that won’t happen will happen which dilutes discussions imo.
