Dropped 25 points in a DLeague Preseason game for the Iowa Energy. If Hayward continues to be a spaz, help is a phone call away.
 
When are ten day contracts allowed? It's always interesting to see who puts up mondo averages in the D-League. I'm sure the Jazz will trade for, or 10 day a 2 guard sometime during this season.
 
sorry Duck, I'm too lazy to look it up on NBA.com at the moment, but the approximate date is early January - it's generally right around the time that all non-guaranteed contracts become guaranteed

up until that point, I believe, you can sign a guy and waive him, so there's really no point to the 10-days
 
Joe Alexander got waived by NO. Guy had a great last year at West Virginia. Has great hops as well, but looks like he cant translate any of it to the NBA. Also had a major injury, but could we bring him in for a workout?

Sure was. Averaged 1 point and 1 rebound in 97 or 98 playoffs. Very bad (*** or not).

He never was NBA talent, just took ole Jer awhile to figger out, with the help of some other coaches.
 
Locke called Jeffers a "beast" in preseason when he was posterizing Robin Lopez. We could have used a little beastiness against the Thunder.
