What's new

Jefferson for Igudala

I hate you and your posts. I hope you get pancreatic cancer.

What... The man isn't allowed to have an opinion? So he doesn't think Kanter is any good so what. You know this is exactly the reaction Franklin wanted. So who's the one that sounds stupid? I'll give you a hint, it's not him.

And I in turn got the reaction I wanted from him.

Watching the US b-ball team. I like what I see from AI, and the more I think about it the more it makes sence for us to trade Al for AI. Think of the lineup possibilities.

This would be our starting lineup.

Hayward
AI
Millsap

How would most teams deal with these rotations, better yet, how would they score on these lineups. AI would make us so athletic so much longer, and so much versatile. in how we rotate lineups and match other lineups, and with Al gone we can replace him using the mle on a big to come off the bench.

Why couldn't we?

Iggy makes 15 a year for 2 years. Marvin makes 8 and 7.5 for the next 2. Neither one of those guys is making backup money, and we still have Hayward and Burks. It would be colossally stupid to split minutes between those 4 given their salaries. Ergo, adding big dollar Iggy is insane.

Jazz would need to fill the hole at C as well if they trade Al for Iggy. Favors might not play more than 30 mins. They could have tried trading Al for Iggy first and then traded Devin for a backup big man+picks.

We could have ended with a starting lineup of

Mo Williams
Hayward
Iguodola
Favors
Millsap

which would have been pretty good
and had a bench of
Tinsley
Burks
Kanter
backupC
Evans (or whoever else)
