What's new

Jefferson or Millsap for 5th pick and Garcia?

Dude, are you high?

We also gave up two firsts plus all that. Where do you think our pick went this year? Where do you think the first rounder we got for Brewer went?

Also, I never said Boozer was a first.

Whats the point of discussing things like this if you have no clue what is going on?
Oh! Oops misread that. Somehow I read right over the 2 first. Looking back that does seem to be a lot. But we did not trade Boozer in that trade.

Kosta Koufos, Donatas Montiejunas and this year's #18 for Al Jefferson. Even though I'm not a Big Al fan, for that package he was worth a look.

Well at least you know whats going on.

But we cant say we would have picked Donatas. So whoever was available.

We never should have picked Koufus. It should have been Ibaka.

It may have seemed like worth a look, but it wasnt. Trade FAILED!

You're an idiot.

Koufos was the MVP of the Euro U-18 AND the NIT (albeit after a good but somewhat disappointing freshman season at Ohio State). He was also a McDonald's All-American. After his performance in the Euro U-18s, DX had him as high as #4 in their 2008 NBA mock draft, and slotted him at #11 in their final mock. No one expected him to be available at #23. The Jazz hadn't worked him out, most likely for these very reasons, and took a shot when he slid to them at #23. I doubt you hated the pick at the time. I doubt even more that you wanted Ibaka.

Hindsight is 20/20. Jefferson was in terrible situations (bad teams, several coaching changes) in Minnesota and Boston, but put up relatively big numbers before Utah landed him. They gave up Koufos, a #20 and a #18 pick for a starter and potential all-star. It was a fantastic trade, just like the DWill trade.

I knew it wouldnt take long..

Here is the first flamer of the day. This is what happens when I beat someone. They break down, flame out, and resort to name calling. Because thats all you got GVC.

Did your mommy take away your sucker, and now you are throwing a fit.

read my edited post. You bring absolutely nothing to the discussion. How can you beat someone at an argument without providing any information whatsoever?

Yet you continue to argue with this tardknuckle, C'mon bro, you're better than that. That said, I wanted Batum in that draft and I think you know that.

I think this may be the first time I've actually responded to one of that moron's posts.

I remember; we both liked Batum, but Koufos seemed like a pretty decent pick at the time.

Yeah, Koufos did seem solid based on his resume. He's improved decently too. 16.5 mpg, 5.5 rebounds, 0.8 blocks, 5.5 points on 59.9% from the floor. Nothing mind-blowing but respectable, especially since he started half his games in Denver this year.

Blah blah blah.

Sure dude.

So what, just because you choose not to read the whole thread then that means I brought no info.

You trying to use logic: FAILED

I bet if I talked to you long enough, just as I did with Greg and Wes, I would soon find out just how misinformed you are. Just like Greg and Wes, they too called me an idiot from the start. By the end of the discussion, it turned out they were missing a lot of facts.

Koufus is turning out to be ok. He wont be better than Ibaka though.

Koufus being good just makes the Al trade look even worse.

So thanks for helping me prove my point.

I have read the whole thread fwiw. The first bit you threaten to wrap your lips around Wes's ***, then state that your opinion is fact, followed by some ranting about which prospects you like/dislike based on emotion(?...?...who knows how you come to conclusions, since you rarely if ever give actual reasons), and then resort to talking about how certain the present was in the past. You're brilliant.

You wouldn't trade a #23, #20 and a #18 pick in different drafts for a shot at a guy who has produced despite playing under different coaches/systems, with garbage teammates, virtually every year of his career? KOC should have just stood pat, right? That would have been the aggressive thing to do.

This is the GVC that I miss. Keep it up.

Haha, I made you go back and read the whole thread. Lol. Awesome.

Beautiful summary you made there.

Notice how stupid Wes and Greg were though? How anticlimatic it was when you found out how stupid they are.

Funny huh?
