According to PER he is (21.0). He is third behind only Brook Lopez (21.7) and Ryan Anderson (21.8). Somewhat of a funny stat. He leads guys like Deron, Nash, and Tim Duncan.

Or, he only gets about three minutes...just enough time to get an alley oop, then he is back to the bench. The guy is a fantastic person, a great 13, 14, 15th player. Nothing more.

PER is extremely valuable, but one of its strengths and weaknesses is that it doesn't differentiate between a guy who played 2000 minutes and a guy who played 200 minutes. it's a stat that you have to look at in the context of other stats and analysis to have it make much sense.

Wow. I can't believe how oblivious I was the whole season watching Jeremy! Look for a max contract and possible trades of stars such as LeBron and Tim Duncan. They need to update his vertical since he got his braces, I've heard the extra weight dropped it a few inches. Look for teams to add that to their considerations

I like Jeremy, I think he can be very useful to a team. I am not surprised is per is high. When he is in the game he produces quickly. I love what he brings. He is a very capable rebounder and shot blocker. He isnt just a dunk guy. I also think he could be a decent shooter. He hasnt even attempted that many. I think the ones he has shot.looked good. I have seen him make as many as he has missed. I dont care that he is skinny either.

Everything he brings added up is a positive for this team or any team. He would fit right in anywhere. I dont see how any team would not want to give him a few minutes at least. He brings tons of energy to the team. Especially at home where he can help bring excitement to the crowd and the team. There is something to be said for that. It helps everybody play a little more lively. Dunks do have some extra value. It pumps up your guys and the crowd or vice versa, it can demoralize the other teams spirts and the crowds.

Evans abilities are in elite class of guys who can play above above the rim, if you will. Those skills are very useful. Especially during those times when you are in scoring drouts. He gives you a great chance for an offensive rebound putback.

I dont think Jeremy Evans is without faults. I dont think he is going to be an allstar either. I think though he should have a place on this team. KOC is smart to try and retain him. He is an excellent 4th big and probably a good 3rd big. Or a guy that is used for specific situations. At the right price he is definitely a need for us. And I also enjoy watching him play. He also will help with blowouts at home.
