Jeremy Evans should teach gordon hayward how to shoot.

p.s. where the hell did this guy get that jump shot from out of nowhere? he's just money with it! I think we should play j.evans 30mins a game he makes things happen.

They've always said he's had it, and the few he took in previous years he usually made. The fact his shot can't be blocked or bothered, ala Kevin Durant, gives him a huge advantage.

jeremy evans aka kevin durrant 2.0? is that what we're getting at here?

This.

I always thought he was a good shooter and should have been getting some minutes the last 3 years but he never was given a proper chance.

He would always come in during garbage time and play great.... get dunks, rebounds, blocks, hit open J's...... but then everyone would say that its just garbage time so it doesn't matter and he sucks and should never be in the rotation

It is really fun to watch him shot 3 feet over the defenders hands.

Gordon has been around for 4 years, and we all know he's a good player. He may not be suited for his current role, or he may simply be having a hard time adjusting to a very new situation. If he can't get out of this slump, then Corbin needs to put him back in a position he's comfortable in, and find someone else to be the no.1 option.

As for Evans, he has such a sweet stroke. I don't think his good shooting is a fluke, and I'm excited to see him grow from a nobody to a very useful rotational player.

Hit the nail on the head Mr. Mar.

If fact I thought they should've been starting Evans at the small forward position all year.
Also Evans >>> Marvin at the PF this year as well.

I don't think anybody doubted his shooting mechanics or the way his shot looks it was more to do with between his ears. He had never in his basketball career been asked or needed to take jump shots, so he just needed to adjust his mentality and have confidence in himself to allow himself to take them, also he can get pushed around in the post. So combine those 2 things with having Millsap, Jefferson, Favors & Kanter all fighting for playing time its not some conspiracy on why he had a hard time getting minutes until this year.

With that said, love me some Evans hope he can keep it up this season and wondering if Williams can start at SF in place of Jefferson to open more back up minutes for Evans at the PF.

I have called him a living-in-a-van-by-the-river man's Kevin Durant, and I hadn't even considered his perfectly high release point. Kev' still has fourty pounds on him though, so unless Jeremy actually puts on a few he'll never get there. I do like the sober Keon comments, seeing as I was excited for Keon when they picked him up.

I'm pretty sure Evans is one of those guys that just jumped over everyone for the first 22 years of his life. When he found out that didn't get you far at this level he put in a concerted effort to expand his game. And holy **** the kid actually has talent. A genuine late bloomer - which has become a rarity these days.

Imagine if someone got a hold of him when he was 15 and started making him work on his game like he's doing now?

I think it has become pretty clear that Evans is really better than LeBron and he has just been held back. Once he is unleashed I am sure he will average 30 pts/15 rebs/8 assts/5 blocks/5 steals on 75% shooting from everywhere and win multiple MVPs each year. Not just one per year, but multiples every year. A new thing they will make just to be able to recognize his awesomeness. Book it.

He always had a nice 15 foot jumpshot. I would always doubt when it left his hands, but it would mostly go in. Somebody (Locke?) said that he'll be a very solid NBA rotation player if he can keep extending that range.

If Evans can hit the 3 then he'll have a long nba career. Right now his energy level is really important to this team.

i like the way you think.

UNLEASH EVANS

#LETEVANSSHOOT

i'd say he should be our #1 option right now...let em go to work.

Lol, Totally not seeing the Kevin durant comparison... Yes they are tall skinny black guys, nice observations.

KD has range for days, has ridiculous handles for a 6'10" guy, can get his shot (and make it) over anyone in the league, and is a better passer than just about everyone on our team . Evans has hit a collection of open 15 footers, and I'm happy about that, but that's it.
