What's new

Jets vs. Patriots

But just the mere fact that they're in the playoffs competing every year with a bunch of no name scrubs is an amazing feat all by itself. Winning Championships? Incredible.

....I do believe the Pats have a good number of 1st and 2nd round draft choices on there team....regardless of the fact that you may think they have no names!

Those three Super Bowls have an asterisk next to them for cheating. A known cheater cannot be considered the best of all-time. Has Belichick won a Super Bowl since he was caught cheating? No. Bill Walsh also won three Super Bowls as a head coach, and was an innovative genius on offense. Bill Walsh got it done without cheating. Belichick isn't in the same company as Bill Walsh. Belichick will always be remembered as a cheater.

In your opinion.

So satisfying seeing the Pats get bounced. Especially after all their smack about how Manning is such a choker and an epic QB like Brady always comes through.

The Jets have how many big name players? They're the Miami Heat of the league with Portland's Paul Allen's money.

Other than Thomas Brady, can here name another player let alone defensive player for the Pats?
Didn't think so.
Easy. That fat pile of crap Wilfork.

Pete Rose will always be the best hitter of all time, Bonds the greatest HR hitter of all time, and Brock Lesner will always have fans. Cheaters always win.

Pete Rose isn't the best hitter of all time. He just has the most hits. And it wasn't cheating.

Except today. It was the Jets, and now they're going to meet this man:

"Pick Six: Top QB games in recent playoff history?

"2. Rodgers vs. Falcons, 2010 NFC Divisional Playoff Game: Rodgers has put the notion to rest that he is merely a fantasy enthusiast’s dream. The Packers have scored 114 points in Rodgers’ three playoff games. On Saturday night, he finished 31-of-36 for 366 yards and three touchdowns. He even ran for a touchdown, too."

Aaron Rodgers, the guy who will make you forget Tom Brady's name.

Tom Brady is not happy, but he gets to go home to Giselle, at least until he leaves her for the next model. Maybe she won't be pregnant when he moves on.

Do you think we will read Bill Simmons making fun of The Brady Face? Me neither.

Bill Belichick peers out from his hoodie.

Rex Ryan thinks he'll name his next crap "Wes".

in my fantasy land, the patriots lost because bill belichick made the pointless decision in siding with public sentiment and tradition by benching wes welker for the first series of the game, so instead of being viewed as the transcendent superman spiting the hypocritical sports world that he was in 2007, he reverted to, well, tom coughlin at his worst overnight and lost the respect of all his players

i'd like for him to come out angry next year and go 19-0, but he seems bored to me

Wouldn't batting average be a better stat to deduct who was the better hitter? C'mon Trout, lay off the fail.

So, would you rather have Pete Rose, or Tony Gwynn? I don't know about you, but I'll take Rose. Ty Cobb has the highest batting average of all time, and I doubt many people would choose him as their 1st pick as all time best hitter.

More would take Cobb than Rose. Rose was a very good player, but the hit record is more about him playing 25 years than for being the best hitter. My personal choice is Ted Williams.
