Well, he looks at least as good as Luke Ridnour. The question now is whether he can increase his strength and toughness on defense.
Hmm.. I really like Jimmer.
But I think he'll struggle in the NBA for the following reasons:
- I don't think he'll be fast enough to drive pass players to the rim
- It's no secret he struggles finishing at the rim in college
- so I think defenders will just play him on his jumper and with the athleticism of NBA players I think he might have a problem getting his shots off - let alone making them.
You see it a little bit in that video where he's 1 on 1, he ended up having to settling for his jumper and fading away.
I think he needs that driving/off the dribble game to the hole to keep defenders honest (Hayward was able to thrive last year because he had that drive and dunk game as well as his 3pt range).
If he cannot do that I think he might struggle with his outside shot.
I dont think you've seen Jimmer play a full game. I've formed that opinion off the quoted comment.
Locke agrees - he will struggle finishing at the rim in the NBA - 1.24 minute mark.

That is not what you said though. You said he struggles finishing at the rim in COLLEGE.
That is 100% false. Now, if you want to project and question if he will have the same success and also be able to finish at the rim in the pros, that is a different statement and a different matter and is an opinion, but it is not fact as you stated.
