Can we please stop with the Jimmer speculation? I'd have been all for it during the tank season, but it's way past time to let it drop. Jimmer will likely never play for the Jazz. They have better (cheaper options) to round out their bench.

Jimmer would be awesome. Bring this board back to life. Better than the religion threads in GD.
 
Can we still sign Shawn Bradley? I'd rather have him. And yes I know he's probably 50, still more interested in him than Jimmer. Hell I'd rather have Tyler Haws, at least there is still some question as to whether he can play NBA ball.
 
We do need shooting
 
I used to hate talking about JIMMER. Now, I am humored when he is mentioned because he ****ing failed and is rubbish.

He led the league in three point shooting either this past year or the year before I think.
Also led the league in free throw percentage.

Jimmer sucks in allot of ways...... But not at shooting
 
During his senior season I always compared Jimmer to JJ Redick, which was apparently offensive to many (this before Redick developed decently). At least statistically, their college numbers were near identical year for year. Neither one of them would be the types of players they were in college. I still maintain that comparison and, in that regard, I think he could hold value somewhere in the league. There's been a lot of Jimmer love over the years simply because he played at BYU. There's also been a lot of irrational hate of Jimmer because he played at BYU and because his following has been rather annoying (keep in mind these are BYU fans and not necessarily Jazz fans [weak ones, if that] -- plus, like half of BYU students aren't from Utah and the ones that are often move out of state, so a lot of Jimmermania has moved elsewhere [e.g. you've probably never heard anyone clamoring to hire Danny Ainge as coach or GM). People probably wouldn't be going into convulsions every time his name was mentioned if there weren't that baggage (and his name probably wouldn't be mentioned enough). But, just like after Redick's first number of disappointing seasons, I still believe the talent he/they have will still translate in some sphere of the basketball world. That probably isn't here or now, though, but there could be some upside.

Look a few years back when he got some playing time.
He had back to back years when he shot nearly 50% from 3.

Last year he barely had any attempts. Sample size too small.

If jimmer is on your team and you play him allot he gets a decent amount of looks from three then he will make a high percentage.
He is a good shooter. This should not even be a question

Ha ha. Just checked his career stats u are right. Still 9-48 this last year from three. Could be a sign of no confidence and pretty bad. Even for a small sample size
