What's new

Joe Ingles; Jazzman

Whoooaaaaaa boy... Ingles won't have just one jersey in the rafters... likely two or three. They won't just build a statue outside the arena for Joe... the actual arena will be shaped in Joe's image.

He. Da. Best.

Is that what the remodel is all about? I like it!

Ingles won't have a jersey in the rafters or a statue outside, but he's been great for the team on the court and off, and especially in the locker room. He keeps everyone loose. Glad he's back. And I LOVE his wife (in a platonic way). So cute how she dressed up the infants. Screw Robyn and her traitor husband.

Had never saw a pic of his wife. Had to google her. Very pretty lady. He's a lucky dude.

Love having Ingles on the team also. Love his style of play.

My apologies my good man, from time to time the loathsome conditions of my employment compel me to venture forth from the comfort of my office and actually do some work. I'm sure you understand how degrading and beneath me this is but I will insist on buying shiny trinkets.

In the Peoples Republic of Victoria, the mouth breathing hordes still follow the false idols worshiped at the 'G', in my quiet moments of repose I often wonder about their wretched condition and worry about the safety of their immortal souls but mostly I just smoke and drink heavily while attempting to get the leg over the help. For those of us of a continental origin however the wonders of the world game, the beautiful game are very much part of the daily discourse.

Tonight in fact, 80,000 bewildered and probably heavily intoxicated New South Welshmen forked over an astonishing amount of their hard earned money to watch Arsenal FC of London, England patronise both the crowd and Sydney FC in what can only be described as a cynical cash grab from representatives of our colonial masters. Tradition is the very backbone of all properly ordered societies.

Gave me a dummy spit. Have to construct a new dunny now as my Dutch oven pavlova filled the last hole.

Joe Ingles. This guy has a future with the Jazz. For life. In broadcasting.

No question he would be amazing at that. Except when people have asked him about that he's always said that he plans to go back to Australia when his playing career is over.

I would pay extra for a skype box at the bottom of the screen with Jingles giving reactions to the game realtime while sitting on a cooler of beers on his back porch in Australia. Pair that with Trevor Booker in Studio and it would be better than three quarters of the commentating duos in the league.

Nothing super new here but demonstrates he's a much better bloke than his mate. Anyway hope Joe stays a Jazzman for a long time.

Joe's numbers by the role he played. . .

Totals per game for the year -

7.1 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, 2.7 assists per game and 1.2 steals per game.

In the 26 games he started he increased his number to -

7.6 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists per game and stayed at 1.2 steals per game.

The big jump comes when you look at the 20 games where he got 30+ minutes -

11.7 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, 4.2 assists per game and 1.9 steals per game.

Plus, I can see another jump from him when he goes into the season as the presumptive starter getting starter minutes. Looking forward to him staying with the Jazz and being a big part of the "Gobert Pivot".
