Most are over-simplifying this.

It largely depends on who's anchoring the post. If you've got shot blockers that lack offensive game then you NEED wings that can score more than defend.
It just depends on the overall makeup of the team.

and that's our team with Favors and Gobert. We need Parker. Parker is a great player, and would impact us immediately, which is when we need it (while our team is still affordable). If we draft a star and have a winning culture and are in talks of contending within 2-3 years, it will be a lot easier to hold on to them--and actually make something of it.

I've said it before. I don't think Embiid is as quick and crafty as Hakeem, but I think he has the potential to do pretty much everything Patrick Ewing did....if he adopts a scorer's mentality.
