@ESPNSteinLine: Hearing Bulls, in addition to their interest in Aaron Brooks, have also explored requiring Tom Thibodeau fave John Lucas III for backcourt

Please be true!

It would have to be a a draft pick. As they don't have any contracts that they can trade.

If we get a 2nd round pick out of Lucas then DL needs a raise lol

Seeing how we are going after players with attitude now after signing Booker and looking at Francisco Garcia.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us trade our unguaranteed contracts for a guy like Will Bynum. Another player with attitude who could light a fire under some of our players. Detroit doesn't need him as they have DJ and Jennings now at PG.

After reading all the criticism on the board, I heard Lindsey is holding out for 2 second-round picks. Won't take anything less.

Jazz should go after Aaron Brooks as 3rd string PG. Great 3pt shooter and spark plug off the bench. Give the Bulls JL3 for a Euro that will never come over.

Bulls just signed Aaron Brooks already. I think Hinrich will be the back up SG or maybe starter.

Brooks will be the back up PG to Rose.

And they probably want Lucas as the 3rd string.

DL was on 1280 yesterday and Monson asked "Is the roster where you want it or is there still work to do this summer?"
DL replied, *paraphrase, "We are still looking at upgrading the guard spot."

That has to mean JL III is gone for an upgrade... right? It HAS to! I pray that is what it means!!!

Are they tanking? I figured Philly would offer the shadow boxer a max contract.

Guard spot: didn't say PG or SG. I take it to mean they have seen Burke/Exum together is a disaster. My guess is Burke plays about 3o to start and then Exum plays 18 until his conditioning improves. By the break maybe they are even alternating quarters. At SG, Burks will be the starter, but who plays behind him? My guess is they see Hayward as a FT SF with Hood getting the minutes as backup.

Is Shelvin Mack too good to be behind Trey and Exum? If Exum spends time at the two shouldn't there be 10 or 15 minutes for a guy like Mack?

Just noticed he's a RFA, so he may be hard to get, and he may not be interested in a 3rd string role... Then again he ought to know Snyder.

A second round pick will do no loss here- Id like to give that Covington a shot. Pity if we're all hired out on assistants I'd love to see watson get a seat teach the young PGs to stand up for themselves and bring some nasty
