Me too... my dad met him several times because he’s a drunk bastard too... always bought him a beer when he saw him (I’ll bet he never had to buy a beer in Utah) when hot rod died he called me just sobbing.

I remember my dog and me went on a camping trip (I think it was March and that's why my wife didn't come too. Too cold) and I had brought my headphones and a little am/fm radio cause there was going to be a jazz game on and I was sitting around the campfire listening to the game when I found out he had died.
