Josh Howard could resign with Utah?

I don't mind keeping CJ as long as he doesn't expect to start on the team. And as long as the contract is reasonable. Again, as I've said in other posts, the team needs to have a certain number of players by CBA law, so some of them have to be low minute backups and CJ -with the right attitude- is perfect for that. (so are Howard and Evans)

I'm definitely open to resigning here, I enjoy playing here. -any NBA player with a brain.

Seriously, he would be an idiot to say otherwise. What if he said: "Nah, man I don't really like Utah and I don't see myself sticking around past April." It could be that he actually enjoys playing in Utah, or it could be that he's only looking for a team where he can play regular minutes, or it could be none of it is true and he's plans to look elsewhere first - either way if you're about to be a free agent you want to keep as many options open as possible. Even if you're desperate to find a change of scenery, the last thing you want to do is eliminate the option of resigning.

I love it when you speak cynically to me.

Josh Howard is a me-first player.
He had a fastbreak play that I remember and there were 3 Jazzmen versus 1 opponent. He was handling the ball and had 2 streaking wings by him. The opponent was just gaurding Howard. Rather than passing it off, he decided to go up for it and got a charge called on him.

Now that's what I call a business decision
