Recurrence is not necessarily the end. A friend of mine, and my "cancer mentor" so to speak, has dealt with 5 recurrences of his testicular cancer, obviously not all of it in the same spot (moved to his lung and liver, etc.), 2 with metastases, and he is still here. Lots of this depends on what type of cancer it is and how it presents. But it is not unprecedented to "beat" cancer more than once.



For the record, however, I do not want to try it. But I wish the little guy the best of luck.
