Julius Randle?

We need someone who can initiate offense from the 4 like Carlos Boozer. Joe Johnson is the only one we have right now who can.

Jerekbo can shoot 3s and Favors can power dunk but they're not Trevor Booker type explosive players that will set the stadium on fire and spark a team.

Randle > Favors

Randle is younger, more athletic, better passer, and can defend on the perimeter better than Favs

I like Favors, but I'd trade him for Randle straight up any day. They both are below average shooters, but good dudes.

Randle isn't a strip club guy, he's more of Jazz DNA and he'd get playing time here

I get that Favors isnt the player he used to be, I get that he might not be the best fit according to some people but the hate for him is out of control.

We have multiple people in here claiming Randle is better than Favors and would be an upgrade for our roster. Favors is better than Randle right now and its not really close. Myabe Randle will become better, but I am not sure about that.

Also Favors is not a bad shooter as implied in here. His 3 point shooting isnt great, but obviously he is just starting to shoot that this season and I am sure it will go up. His mid range jump shot is solid right now and his ability to finish at the rim is good and always has been.

Favors is shooting 48% on his shots that are 1 or 2 steps in from the 3 point line. If he can extend that shot out, like he is working on then you have a great defensive big that can shoot the three and finish inside.

I am happy to trade Favors but not for a downgrade.

Randle is not the solution for us at the 4.
 
Well Randle has a full court ape-***** mode as posted in the above video. Only Donovan Mitchell has this mode on our team currently.
 
I saw the Lakers play the Cavs last December. Randle and Clarkson were the best players for the Lakers. If we could get Randle here without giving too much, heck yes you do it. The guy isn't as bad a defender as some here claim and he scores a lot of points in transition.

He's going to get traded but it will be to some other team. Lakers will probably move Ennis (or Brewer) and Randle for someone or they'll simply trade Randle for a pick.

I like Favors, never made a negative post about him on this site the whole time I've been here

but he can't take it coast to coast get real
