July 7th, Summer League Game 1: Utah vs. Miami

Bummer Trey Burke crapped the bed with his shooting performance, but a big "whatever" from. I watched the exact same thing - and the exact same freakout - with Stephen Curry's initial summer league games. Also saw it with Gilbert Arenas a few years back. Anyhoos... I just watched Burke shoot the lights out in the NCAA tournament, so I can live with this. Basically, I'm not worried that he suddenly can no longer shoot. It'll be interesting to see how he performs on Tuesday.

Summer league games are like pre-season games in the NFL, except much worse. I watch them at first fairly excited to only realize 10 minutes or in how much they suck. It's the equivalent of a weak dose of methadone.

I would love to give tips but I don't totally know what you mean. This is sorta embarrassing, but I'm new here. Reps are the "Like" button people can press, right? And then do I get more green bar things? Thanks dude - Noob

Cp3 has amazing quickness (especially stopping and starting)
Nate robinson has amazing leaping ability (and great quickness)
Jameer nelson is super strong.

Does burk possess something like that to help overcome that lack of size

If you cut out Burke's shooting, he had one hell of a game, and did something only half the PG's did, which is win the game, and take the lead with 6 points toward championship game. Yeah Burks and Christmas were point factor, but I would give Burke the credit for control of game. If he had MCW's 23 attempts and 8 TO's, we would have lost the game.

we also played miami who has one of the worst teams

no 1st round talent

only one returning nba player

Touting a win in Summer League is more absurd than panicking about a player not performing well in Summer League.
