Robert Pera, the prospective new Grizzlies owner, has recruited Justin Timberlake to be a minority owner. I guess it makes sense as Timberlake is from Memphis and is an NBA fan. When does the season start so we can get better news than this?

Peyton has said it's his wife that will be the co-owner, not him.

He's moving up. Being involved with the Grizzles is cooler than being involved with Myspace, that's all I know.

One item on the agenda at the NBA Board of Governors meeting on Wednesday and Thursday is officially approving the sale of the Grizziles to Robert Pera's ownership group. If approved then Pera's group would just have to close the deal with current Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley.
