“There will be a desire to hear her voice, and there won’t be a vacuum for long,” a person close to Harris said.
As Harris has repeated in phone calls, “I am staying in the fight.”

It appears that Democrats have learned all the lessons. The problem, it seems, was not enough Kamala.

Run Kamala, run! You'll win for sure this time! Who do Democrats have to oppose you? Mayor Pete? ROFL.

She will be out before super Tuesday.

We don't need losers. That's who Republicans vote for.

uhhh the Republican .. won ? lol

i admire Kamala's resiliency though. Imagine having a billion dollars spent on you to make you seem capable and appealing and nope more people ended up voting for Donald Trump. That would have to be a crushing ego blow for most people.

Yeah because they voted for a loser.

You know what's sad? She just might ****ing run. And the tradition in the DNC seems to be to defer to the person who's "turn" it is. They determine who's turn it is in some ultra secret blood ritual and that **** is binding.

Please let Pete run in 2028. He could shoot someone at Mar-A-Logo and he wouldn't lose my vote.

Obviously I'm playing on the Trump quote here, I'm not being serious.

Cool, a joke predicated on a racist stereotype about black people drinking Hennessy. Cool Cool.

Meanwhile, Trump voters complaining about being called racist for their racism.

I just thought it was because she always seems drunk when she talks.

Drinking Hennessy: Black Stereotype?

Based on the provided search results, it’s essential to acknowledge that the association between Hennessy cognac and the Black community in the United States is rooted in historical and cultural factors, rather than a stereotype. Here’s a breakdown:

  1. Historical context: During World War II, French communities showed appreciation to Black soldiers stationed in France by distributing French cognac. This early exposure to the luxury spirit created a connection between Hennessy and the Black community.
  2. Marketing and advertising: Hennessy was one of the first liquor companies to market specifically to Black communities, featuring Black models in ads in magazines like Jet and Ebony in the 1950s. This targeted marketing helped establish the brand’s presence in Black culture.
  3. Cultural significance: Hennessy became a symbol of luxury, elegance, and sophistication in Black culture, often associated with special occasions and celebrations. This cultural significance was not imposed by outsiders but rather emerged organically within the community.
  4. Rap music and hip-hop: The brand’s popularity was further amplified by references in rap music and hip-hop, with many artists mentioning Hennessy in their lyrics. This cultural crossover helped solidify the brand’s connection to Black culture.
  5. Authenticity and loyalty: The Black community’s affinity for Hennessy is not solely driven by marketing or external factors. Rather, it’s a testament to the brand’s early and sustained investment in building relationships with Black consumers, as well as its authenticity and loyalty to the community.
In conclusion, drinking Hennessy is not a Black stereotype, but rather a cultural phenomenon rooted in historical and marketing factors. The brand’s association with the Black community is a result of genuine cultural exchange, rather than a stereotype imposed from outside.
