Kanter 30 Pts and 16 Rebs... And Now the Rest of the Story...

I find it hard to believe a team with an MVP candidate like Westbrook is getting wins.

The thing about Westbrook, he is a high volume shooting inefficient scorer. With him as the main person, surrounded by a so-so cast, OKC is barely clinging onto the 8th seed.

Compare him to Harden, who is a much more efficient scorer. With him as the main person, surrounded by a so-so cast, Houston is one of the top teams in the West.

It's not clear to me that a team can win with Westbrook as the main guy, although the opposite seems to be true of Harden.

I'd take Harden over Westbrook any day. Westbrook as MVP candidate is, IMO, ridiculous.

My self respect is in someone's butt. That is why I do what I do. I am on a constant search.

Look, I'm just trying to help you out. It seems that posting on the internet is not your thing. Perhaps it is time to focus on more menial tasks - tasks where your inferior ability to reason isn't so well-pronounced.

You're helping? By sucking butts? Thanks for the enema, I guess.

Posting on a message board is a thing? I do this because I'm bored at work and it kills time.

My reasoning is so awful, yet I somehow scored a 172 on the LSAT. You should go tell them my Scantron got mixed up with another's.

Sometimes people who test really well are really dumb in real life situations. This is probably one of those times.

We talk about ex Jazz players/coaches/personnel. People still bring up Greg Foster, Chris Morris, dudes from 80's, etc... Once you're a Jazz man, you're relevant.

yes that's ok, but this thread is about making fun of Kanter because his team lost again, even though he had a good box score. How many threads do we need making fun of his defensive liabilities.

I get it, people were angry with his comments and are enjoying the lack of team success the thunder are having even when Kanter is putting up lots of points.

I guess to me it's like listening to a friend continually whine about their boyfriend or girlfriend who dumped them weeks ago.

Anyway not trying to offend anyone, but there are a lot of threads saying the same thing, that's all

Personally I am sick of reading about Kanter on a Utah Jazz site.

The guy is an offensive weapon that needs improving with his defense. He is only 22 years old and we don't have anyone putting up his offensive numbers.

The fact is he is getting national attention for the numbers he is putting up. As he is only 22 his defense will improve during the next 10 years in his prime. The guy will be an all-star one day.

He is gone now and whether you like him or not I wish we could just let him go so we can discuss those things relevant to the Jazz.

Just like LMA who couldnt play defense or rebound at 22 and now he can. Difference is Kanter is way better scorer and rebounder than LMA was and probably better outside shooter too. Definitely the better inside scorer ALREADY and hes 6 years younger than LMA.

LMA is a max player. Kanter will be a max player in MVP discussions and this will go down as the worst trade since Jazz gave up Magic and Wilkins. I look forward to bumping all these stupid comments when Kanter is winning championships.

Some Fans have a Kanter-Complex... Let it go dude, he is now on another team. He is putting down 18 and 11 in 30 minutes... shooting 58% from the field and has a per of 25, which is HoF level PER for a BIG... They missed Ibaka for 11 of these games and they went 12-7 with Kanter. That´s a 63% winning team with him right now...

Wstbrook playing out of control is as bad for a team, as Kanter´s defense.... They are winnig despite of it....

Well they lost most of the games they played vs good teams since the trade (jazz, dallas...) to be fair.

And they beat ATL, TOR, and PHX.

Jazz have lost to DAL, GSW, POR, WSH, but also beat SAS, MEM, and HOU. Point is, your post didn't really prove or disprove anything.

Jazz last played Dal before the Kanter trade. Hayward and Hood missed the Blazers game.

Their record is better since getting Kanter than it was before. Fact. They also lost key players like Durant (again), Ibaka, Roberson, and Adams (but he's come back) and they've still amassed a winning record in his tenure. It has been the Westbrook and Kanter show with Morrow and Waiters having a special game here and there.

Mcgary and Adams have been legit too. Point is, Enes has been a positive for them. Everyone can be pissed and say he's scum and a cancer, but he's found a fit there. A fit that is going to get better when the better defenders come back.

He's a great player. Likely to get even better. Had some attitude and maturity issues, not a good defender but playing with the right combo big that's fine. I wish he would have accepted a lesser role here but the Jazz made their choice with Rudy and it was the right one. Enes should have kept his yap shut.

Yikes...Kanter didn't play against Atlanta, and Toronto and Phoenix have been terrible since the all-star break (i.e. those last two aren't quality wins).

I didn't realize he didn't play vs ATL.

But if you say PHX and TOR aren't the same since the break, then you must admit that the Spurs win for us came during a four game post-break slide. And Memphis was w/o Z-Bo when they played us. Guess that one doesn't count either, huh? And The Houston game was a back-to back where they played Portland to the wire, is that one a flush? Your line of reasoning gets you in as much trouble.

I still stand behind what I said. His post was inaccurate and didn't prove anything.
