Kanter 30 Pts and 16 Rebs... And Now the Rest of the Story...

It is true if Kanter played better D they probably win this game and more games. However, Kanter is so good on offense and rebounding that OKC is still winning most of their games despite injuries with the help of Kanters production which people don't seem to want to give him credit for.

If Kanter played average D he would already a good-great center in NBA. If Kanter keeps his O and played Omer Asik level D he would be an All-Star. This is likely to never happen. Not ever 22 year old Center in the NBA is a center version of Anthony Davis who are elite on both ends.

I am going to watch every Warriors/OKC game and watchCurry, Thompson and Iggy obliterate Kanter in the paint.

Genuinely excited to watch them expose him for a national audience and just destroy his ego.

I'm going to watch every Utah/Cleveland game and watch LeBron abuse Hayward everywhere on the court. I bet they go at Hayward until Utah cannot afford to keep him on the floor.

Hit the wrong item there, did NOT like the post. You continue to be obtuse. The Head Effing Coach of the team did not call out his team for losing because of turnovers. He called them out for not being committed on D. Then you see the points in the paint and it is pretty obvious who to blame: Fool's Gold.

I'm going to bring this up in site feedback. We should be able to un-like a post that we liked by mistake.

And Utah doesn't? The squad that suddenly has become the best D in the league by a large margin with the trade of Kanter?

Give me a break. Guy scores and rebounds but he is about himself and not the team. Huge liability on D and always has been. He will hold any team he is on back.

Ibaka is better suited for Kanter than Gobert (and I said multiple times that Gobert could hide Kanter) because Ibaka is a shot blocker who can defend stretch bigs as well. Roberson is better than Elijah and all of our other perimeter defenders. Durant when engaged is so fast and physically long that we have no one on par with him on our team. We have no Westbrook, etc. Adams is alegit defender as well. When healthy, OKC is a power house, tbh.

We are the best defensive team in the league. Make no qualms about it. But we are the best for us, not for Enes.

in the OKC game last night, Parsons was destroying OKC in the fourth. Dirk caused havoc earlier. That wouldn't happen with Ibaka, Durant and Roberson out there. No way. Adams and Kanter work against certain lineups, but really struggle defensively against stretch bigs, and waiters isn't stopping anyone on the perimeter.

I love when people act like putting up 20 points a night in this league is a hallmark of a quality player and something only a rare few could do.

This reminds me of when the Jazz traded Adrian Dantley to the Detroit Pistons to free up playing time for Karl Malone. Both are really great players but it's obvious who the better player is. Gobert > Kanter.

He's not about himself he's been raging about OKC locker room and professional culture. He's very much a team player and always has been. Back in college he was ruled illeligible for KU but he didn't leave the team to hire a training staff and Kobe like Exum did. Instead he stuck with the team and practiced with them to help them grow. Now he's doing everything Brooks is asking him to do. He did everything Utah asked him to so even though they were stunting his growth.

It is not like Enes is putting up these stats on a losing team like Nikola Vucevic or Al Jefferson.

If big al and vucevic had westbrook then they would be winning teams too fwiw

Except for, you know, defend. At all.

Putting up 20-10 in this league is so easy. 50-30 is where it is at.

Shall I furnish you with a list of players who've put up 20-10 over a sample of 20 games in the past decade? Or shall I point out that Kanter hasn't exactly put up 20-10 over that sample, either?
