First off I cannot believe all these Kanter PF Center lists putting him 10 stages below LMA etc. First off, LMA is 29 Kanter is 22 and still growing. Lets check the facts for a minute before we trade Kanter for D Leaguer like Otto ****.

-LMA cant shoot. His career numbers make Shaq free throw shooting look GOAT.

--LMA cannot defend. He finally figured it out this year with the implementation of a new Thibbs type defensive coaching system.

LMA took longer than Jermaine to figure it out. He only figured it out when surrounded by defensive Lopez. Not to mention defensive specialists Wes, Bat, Dame.


Kanter is already way better on offense than LMA at 22. Age 22!

Kanter has 7 more years to work on defense like All Star LMA had.

Kanter already shoots at an elite level something LMA has never and will never do.

Kanter is arguably the most improved two way player of 14-15.

Kanter was never given a chance and now that Quin has he is performing at elite levels in certaincategories

Kanter has attitude something Favors Hayward and Exum clearly lack.




So what say you jazz fans why would you trade a future better than LMA when you would love to have LMA gift wrapped for Christmas aka pre-season Jazz scrimmage?

lol wut? Career shooter at about 49%, which is pretty dang good considering he's a mid-range shooting big, and FT% at around 80%. Pretty sure that's terrible though.

I don't even…you can't really believe that, can you? LMA is one of the best offensive posts in the league. Don't be crazy, please.

I sincerely hope that this is a troll post. It has to be. I know I'm getting trolled right now, it's really the only logical explanation.
 
Craziest **** about Kanter lovers is that they say he could be great if he was the #1 option. The dude can't pass. You can't be a #1 and not know how to pass. I mean you can, but your team is going to be awful. He would turn into a bad version of Al Jefferson if anyone signed him to a big deal and asked him to play that role.

He is a scoring big who can't draw fouls or pass.

He's not a #1 option, but he'll be a perfect 3rd scoring big off the bench IMO, ala Luis Scola / Ryan Anderson type role. (one dimensional, poor defense, poor playmaker)


Amazingly Phil Johnson said this exact thing about him in an interview the very next day after we'd just drafted him.

lol wut are you insane? Explain to a dumb bloke how Aldridge is one of the best post players but he is a mid-range game?

Okay dont ill just list the numbers. Aldridge shoots worse inside than Kanter and he only took 158 shots inside compared to 212 from Kanter in like half the minutes. Kanter is 20th in shooting percentage Aldridge is 68. Monte Ellis is even better shooter than Aldridge.

Look dude i know you hate Kanter because we got him instead of Derick Williams but to say he is not elite scoring and Aldridge is is not the way to express your utter hatred.
 
AKMVP your rep wasn't nice. I get Kanter is slightly below average on defense. What dont you get about him having 7 more years to figure it out? In the meantime he is already one of the best scorers in the game and he is still raw and improving in leaps and bounds. He doesn't even have an outside game yet when he gets one lookout.

Kanter will soon have one of the highest offensive ratings in the league and nobody will give a hoot about his defense. He's already as efficient as Westbrook, Gasol, Leonard, Horford, and Harden. James got a max deal with no defense and so will Kanter.
 
Kanter is good at offense, he's not elite. Absolutely nobody except you and Kanter think that he's elite.

And I would bet good money he doesn't get the max.

Slightly below average? Did you read the thread the other day? He's pretty much dead last as far as his defensive metrics go for centers in the league.
