We have not seen evidence of that yet.
and YOU never will..
We have not seen evidence of that yet.
I remember when I was the claimed "Kanter Hater".
I don't see him being a mid-talent guy. Either he is a bust, or he rocks the game. Both are options still. But 1st one needs to be disproven by some solid on-court action by our boy Enes.
He is positive and has the love for the game. Those are the most important things to achieve smth. He's a hardworker as well. But he needs play time. Everybody is saying the same thing now. Show us what you got, and you're good to go on the road to be a star.
Well if he is Kendrick Perkins, we are screwed.
While I think he will be a 10-10 guy roughly I think he will be a key piece of our team. He and Favors will dominate the paint together and that combo is where the Jazz will really shine in my opinion.
Hmm combined with Kiki V's offensive skills training- I wonder is Kanter is working at becoming more of a face-up post player. Or at the very least more nimble offensively.

We have Big Al for now. I think Enes getting to a minimun level of body fat is a good thing. Over the next couple of seasons, he can work on putting on weight - say 10 lbs of lean muscle per year. It's very hard to do both as you're losing muscle along with fat when you drastically cut calories.I have more hope for him than that. I'm definitely curious to see what "playing above the rim" looks like for Enes Kanter. A more agile Enes Kanter. He has some skills. If he busts completely, he still should be better than Perk. I'm just thinking he might have given up on playing "big" a little too soon. If I was him and balooned up to 290, I would've tried to turn that into good weight and seen how much I could actually carry while still having similar skills/speed, rather than just go straight for lb dropping. I liked him in the bully role.
It's not a big deal though. He has the frame where he can easily gain it back if it doesn't end up helping his game too much. And frankly, I'm glad he is experimenting while he is still just a guy coming off the bench. We get to see him perform in his full bodily spectrum, so we won't ever have to wonder about what he could've been if he dropped some weight if we let him go in the future. There is some value in seeing that.
You are so shut the hell up.
He went to Turkey weighing around 270 lbs. In two weeks over there, he gained 23 pounds due to the great cooking of his mother (weighing 293 lbs, almost Big or Fat Al category). He came back and lost like 52 pounds in two months with hardwork and better food. Now he finally weighs around 240 lbs (I think he said 242 lbs). Reason for this change were the talks he had with his coach and other people that saw him a little bit out of shape. He also wasn’t satisfied as he looked at himself in front of a mirror.
In addition, Earl Watson said that Kanter has more confidence now and that he has an incredible body and is in great shape. He would also play above the rim now and finish with dunks on people. Kanter also added that he moves better and is a lot quicker.
What I want to ask now is whether Enes is too light to play the Center position. I mean, Big Al has like 60 pounds on him. With better explosiveness and quickness, Enes seems to be better suited to play the Power Forward position and can literally overpower his opponents with his strength. I hope Favors becomes our Center of the future with Kanter becoming the Power Forward as he should be bigger.
6‘11‘‘, 240 and arguably like 3 percent body fat? This kid can’t play heavy minutes at the Center position, just saying. He looked very ripped but a little bit slimm on some of his pictures.
Like totally.
I am severly disappointed.
I am trying to stay positive. I think he will wimprove. I do not think he will ever be that Allstar though.
I am hoping for a 10-10 guy. Next to Favors that I hope is a 20-12-5 guy.
Ftr, I love numbs.
