Kanter to workout with Kiki Vandeweghe

You guys should be stoked that Kiki is working out with him. Kiki was a very smart player who focused on his strengths. He was sometimes knocked during his playing days as soft, but he did in fact often play hurt (I believe he had disc problems), but that could have been because when the Knicks got him the fans expected 20 plus from him every night. His picture perfect shot is what I remember the most about him. That, and thinking that he must have gotten his looks from his father because his mother was a former Miss America.:)

Did Harpring mention anyone by name? Lots of people are working out with "big name ex NBA players". Even if he was talking about Enes, Harpring had no idea how hard Enes is working. No player spends every waking moment in the gym, and you can take a lot of pictures in one day off. Harpring's a bit of a reactionary and often speaks like he has Turrets, so unless he has a specific situation, he can go get faded (to use Enes' words)! I don't know if you're Turkish, but it seems that many Turks are really pissed at him (because he posts pictures of himself with girls?; didn't play in Turkey?). Anyone know why?

Here's Enes' schedule (1.5 hours off/day)

This dumbass should shoot before he lifts. Whatever. Solid day.

That reminds me of Kanter alright.

All he has to do is teach Kanter a Jab step and how to be confident in his shot and that would be time well spent.

If he can teach him tricks for getting his shot off around the rim-even better.

that jab step was pretty dangerous. a lot of coaches teach that as the "kiki move." kanter's release is slow enough that a jab step would help him create the space he needs to get off the shot.

Have to wonder if the Jazz "suggested" to Enes to spend some time with Kiki working on his game.
Good that Kiki is teaching him some of his bag of tricks. All those "little things" put together can become a big thing fast.
Baffles me the Jazz would draft a C at #3 in the draft and 2 years later STILL don't have a big-man coach on their staff... And don't seem that interested in hiring one either...

Kiki scored over 15,000 pts in his career on an average of 19.7 pg. Two years he turned in FT% over 90. I imagine Kanter and Kiki will be working on shooting and scoring.

Matt Harpring is not happy with Kanter's attitude, you guys...

Don't let Freakazoid know about this.

I think he already knows since he did not post here. He's low profiling so we can forget about the evidences of him being Harpring.
