So we are getting a pick? At work now, and all I know is Perkins for Kanter and Novak to Detroit.
 
OKC took four players in but has only officially sent out two. They'd have to waive two players unless that means they sent us Lamb.

If we could get Lamb + 1st out of this, job well done.

They most certainly can resign him. The cap jumps next year, so you pay tax one year, then you're under the next. No big deal. That's why GS will max out Green this summer.
 
So we trades enes for novak's contract? Nothing more??? This is sad :(

They can resign him as easy as they could have re-signed Jackson. It's a lateral move cap wise ad player satisfaction wise.. Production wise they improve over Perkins and get some other bench pieces.

Greg Miller is easily one of the best small market team owners in pro sports.

When will this trade officially be announced? I'm sick of the rumors, let's find out what we got so we can complain.
 
Probably, but he will be comfortable with their system....... since they have none. Kanter is an easy fit. He will be asked to get offensive rebounds and the occasional post up in mismatches. They won't even care if he doesn't pass!

In the West you have to be able to score
Kanter will get lots of easy looks with Durant and Westbrook ....I think he will do even better with OKC ,OKC has their inside player now in Kanter and he will flourish
 
Lamb could be headed to Detroit. Or could be us - guess we'll see. If Lindsey did get Lamb + first + expiring, that's insane.

Kanter and Novak make $9.1mm. Perkins makes $9.4. Any buyout would subtract the vet minimum he'll sign for, saving the Jazz a cool mil plus.

My prediction is we got Detroit 1st with moderate protection and one of the OKC international prospects.
 
I haven't seen anything on Lamb. Or a pick(s) for that matter. I wish the Jazz reporters could help out instead of waiting on national guys. Christ
