This is the hate that drove KANTER out of town..
Aaaw. Poor Kanter. I can't imagine what it is like to be criticized by random people on the internet. I can only hope his millions will help him cope with such a tragedy.

Check out the starters' +/- against LA Clippers tonight. Then look at what Adams and Collison did while they were in the game.
Can the OKC offense outscore opponents? Because they sure as heck can't stop quality teams. Kanter is at 18/4 right now, so he probably finishes with 20+ and around 7 boards. Big Al/Boozer stats!
So if Kanter posts good stats when Thunder loses they are empty stats. When Kanter has bad stats when Thunder loses he is a scrub. When Kanter has good stats when Thunder wins it is because Westbrook is so good. When Kanter posts bad stats when Thunder wins he is a scrub. No matter what Kanter sucks.
Drafting Harden didn't impress you?

It's more like Kanter sucks and isn't much of an asset when they are playing teams with good offenses that space the floor and make him defend in space. He tends to be exposed defensively in those situations. So far the Clippers and Suns did that to them. Kanter is a great addition to their team for the regular season, but it will be very difficult to hide him defensively against teams like Portland, Houston, LAC, GSW, Phoenix, San Antonio, Memphis, etc. That's always been the case for Kanter and will likely continue to be so. That's what everyone has been preaching for the last umpteen years. But go ahead and keep disagreeing with the obvious until you are blue in the face.
The suns game he didn't do very good I agree but he has been ok this Clippers game. Don't blame the game on the both starting wings throwing zero fg's or Westbrooks 9 TO's or playing without KD.
Kanter is pretty good.... at being bad.
The sad part here... is he'll be AT BEST the third option on the Thunder behind Westbrook and Durrant. So this trade didn't really help him any.
I don't think OKC had any intention of re-signing him next year neither. They can't afford to pay Westbrook, Durant, Ibaka AND Kanter as well.
Seems like they just wanted him to fill in for Adams & trying to make the playoff push.
We should start a pool on who'll give him a few bucks next year. New York? Philadelphia? Denver or LA?
I bet Kanter would sign in LA.
What's so sad about that? He wanted traded he got what he wanted. I said all along I think the Jazz screwed him over. He's played above my expectations, but done so without Durrant and Adams being healthy. The sad part here... is he'll be AT BEST the third option on the Thunder behind Westbrook and Durrant. We traded him to a team that had a deep PF/C rotation and 2 guys that dominate the ball. So far they have yet to play at full strength since he's been there. I wonder how many touches and how much playing time he will get when all of their pieces are back.I missed that. What made you think we screwed him over?

Yes. You didn't get that inference from my post? I think the Jazz traded him to a bad fit for him. So far it's worked out for both. Intentionally or not I thought the Jazz sent him to a bad situation. We'll see if I'm right when they are healed. But don't you think he instigated that by demanding that he starts rather than doing what's best for the team? It was clear Gobert was better than him at the C and Favors is a more rounded player at the PF. He should have realised that and either accepted it, or improve. He instead chose to demand a trade.
I don't think we screwed him over, I think we did the best we could with the time frame given to us.
