In this clip, he seems like he would be a decent coach. He approaches the P&R differently from how Kanter usually does it. If you watch in the clips, he just walks up very deliberately. I'm a little surprised at how good he seems. His BB IQ was stupendous, so I don't know why he wouldn't be. The Jazz need to try him as a coach for our youth, now! Before I saw this, I was on the fence, but now I'm pissed with the Jazz.

Listening to Karl right now on the Jazz preview. So glad he isn't our coach
 
I forgot how big karl was... and yeah he does approch the pick and role very smooth. sets a good pick and then rolls lol... just like it sounds.. him and johns pick and role look very well thought out.. it never looks rushed, or unorginized. defintally the best people in the world to teach it. i agree who better to teach it then karl i bet all our bigs could benifit from it.
 
Watching the Video. Karl does understand the P&R in the Jazz offense. And I'm sure would be a good skill coach. But as a head coach there is no way IMO
 
That question was just tossed at Favors, and he acted like yeah he wouldn't be against it happening.
People started acting as if it was a planned for sure thing. I don't think it ever was at all.

I have no desire for him to be our head coach, but he looks like he could definitely help our bigs with subtle stuff and the killer attitude to get position in the post etc. There are a million little things he could teach them. I just want the Jazz to try it, at least a week or two in the summer. Who knows? Lets at least try it.
