Westbrook getting traded to Boston now dummies. They have the assets an large market.
Two super teams.
Horford isn't THAT good.

I am personally excited to watch another historic team next season. This doesn't really affect the Jazz, so I'm not bothered by it.
If GSW stays together + healthy, then this definitely steps on the early part of our title window with this group.

You're just another LeBron hater. And not the first or last. The whole point is who Lebron joined up with. Wade didnt just have one great year. He was a top5 player. Who had already won a ring and a finals MVP.
Lebron still bailed for a beter chance to win rings. He actually did it twice when he went to the Cavs. He wouldnt have went back there if they didnt have Kyrie and Wiggins to bargain with. People want to make him out to be a good guy for going back, but he essentially did the same thing again. He knew Wade was falling off. So he bailed. He knew Kyrie was a good player to team up with.
Durant is just smart enough to see that if he wants to win he has to out Lebron Lebron.
The Jazz has little chance to contend with the current squad. Too many ifs. If GSW stay together, if they stay healthy, if Exum pans out, if Lyles becomes a serious threat. Who knows what will happen? I do know GSW will be amazing to watch next season. I hope they beat record again. I like witnessing a memorable narrative.

Anything GSW do will be memorable. If they choke it will be memorable, if they win 74 games, if they lose in the finals, etc.

the most memorable thing about this narrative is how Durant pussed out.
Both Lebron and KD where weak, but KD's was just weaker IMO.
The Lakers with a 96 era Karl Malone would have dominated.
I bet a little money on the field with a friend that this would happen simply on the basis that he was hosting teams in the most douchey and pretentious place around - The Hamptons. That just screams, "I'm better than OKC" to me. If he would've rented out a back room at a Cracker Barrel to host pitches or something......I would've went OKC.
He has been my favorite player for a few years though....and this does little to change that.....but definitely not jumping on the GSW bandwagon any time soon. I hate them.
OKC just traded to build more around KD. Had KD had any balls, he would have beaten GS last year or vow to do it this year. Either way, KD is leaving the best team I might have ever seen a star abandon to chase a title. This is unprecedented. We have never seen this before.I dont think its weak. You cant blame players for wanting to win and not trusting GM's and team owners. They make bad decisions all the time. I wpuldnt want to put my legacy in their hands. The Thunder already showed whats more important, the money side or winning side, when they traded Harden for nothing basically. Its either being cheap or incompetence. Neither of which as a player I would want to roll with. As bad as Harden is on defense, he still would have made them a lot better had he stayed. That probabaly still bugs Durant.
Weren't shaq and kobe kinda good players in their primes though?Meh. Sort of.
Malone and Payton were well past their primes.
KD is still MVP material.

And I don't blame stars for uniting to win titles. This move is just complete sellout. A prime star leaving to join 3 other prime stars and the Finals MVP from just 2 years ago.
