Kendall Marshall to be waived??

RT@GoodmanESPN: Wizards will only keep Gortat from this trade, sources told ESPN. Will waive Kendall Marshall, Shannon Brown and Malcolm Lee.

I am not a big Marshall fan. Slow guys who can't shoot usually don't end up very good point guards. But we are signing Tinsley lol So who knows.

I know we had some big homers on the board for him last year.

Yeah, I wonder if he has had a real chance, but I don't know if the timing is right. Jazz have Burke and are going to be loyal to Lucas and Tinsley. Would they carry a 4th PG? Three weeks ago I think they give it a chance and see how training camp goes. Today, not sure.

He's basically Tinsley with possibly better offense running skills. Wish we tried him out rather than Machado

Only going off the one game I saw him play against the Jazz last year and he was horrible, worse than any PG on the Jazz last year, by far. But shouldn't really judge and go off that one game but he has been traded and now released for a reason I would think.

How on Earth was that supposed to troll me?

Terrible execution. I never thought I'd say this, but you could learn something from Nickkkkkkkkk.

The downside is what?

Tinsley and Lucas feel used and tell all the vets that the Jazz are back stabbers. Also in theory Marshall is talented enough to challenge Burke for minutes. The Lucas sign seems to point to us rolling out the red carpet for Burke starting.

People on this board were all excited about drafting Scottie Machado when he was coming out of college. Same with Marshall and they both suck. I don't see any need to pick up another PG because Alec Burks can play minutes at PG until Burke gets back. Tinsley can be the back up PG once Burke gets back. Lucas III is NOT a PG and he should NOT be getting major minutes unless the team is actually trying to tank.

Burke isn't that great, but Marshall would never, ever, ever challenge him for minutes.
