He must really hate Lebron. He could stay in Cleveland another year, a team that just made the finals with their 2nd and 3rd options injured, and compete for a ring but he decides to leave?

Seems like these super-star pairings are actually failing.

Kobe-Howard hated each other.

Lebron-Love hated each other.

Can you imagine if they had Wiggins in the Finals, his perimeter D could have helped a lot along with another scoring option.

I am not convinced that Love is a "super-star". How many players really qualify as one? I wouldn't put him as a top 5 or even top 10 player in the league today. Maybe Top 20 . . . maybe.

If they'd just had Love and Kyrie, I'm convinced it would have been a different series. I'm not a Lebron fan whatsoever; regardless of what he achieves in his career (GOAT?), I can't help but detest him for showing horrible character in the way he handled "The Decision", invested himself lock-stock-and-barrel into a championship team-building process that I think felt dirty to most fans, etc. But he is a great player, period, and what he was able to accomplish-- both statistically and from a competitive standpoint-- in the Finals was remarkable. Re-insert those two all-league players, and the Cavs very well could have a trophy right now.

I said it when the trade was made. Should have kept Wiggins.

They could have had Wiggins on a cheap deal, plus his rights for a long time, plus Bennett, plus whatever else they could have afforded with the salary savings. Since Love is going to get an even fatter contract. If they didn't like Bennett, they probably could have unloaded his salary at the very least.

Now Love might walk? What a disaster. Lebron (like Jordan) makes for a terrible GM.

Even after they made this risky trade, they still went out and made it even riskier by fighting with Love and benching him in 4th quarters

So dumb.

If I'm Love, I'd probably not want to resign there either. It's Cleveland for one, and Lebron is disrespectful. He acts like the players are there to serve his legacy.

I thought that was for financial reasons. He will probably sign there again.
