What's new

Knickerbockers (27-43) @ Jazz (44-28) **PLAYOFF SPOT CLINCH - 97' TEAM REUNION**

I laid $50 bet at 100/1 odds Rudy winning the MVP title in the next 5 years (I did it 18 months ago).

I gave up on the bet last year.

Now I'm getting ready to collect :)

Such bs that Exum is benched against a team with no interior defense. Would have been a perfect opportunity for him to continue his development.

Must be hard on him, he was on a good stretch lately. A few poor minutes should not be a reason to get DNP. Perhaps there is another reason, otherwise Quin is making a big mistake.

I was annoyed at Quin the first time this happened to Dante, but then when he was let loose again he was playing really well. So I'm just gonna trust coach this time. Neto is doing a decent job most of the time as well.

Just realized the jazz only had 7 turnovers

It's going to be interesting to see who shows up to the Clippers game. I know the Clippers are playing at home but they're also playing the Mavs tonight. Hopefully that extra day of rest is beneficial for us. The atmosphere at Saturday's game is going to be electric.

Locke said on the podcast that the coaches went over Dante film from the road trip and decided there were a number of things he needs to work on, and that they would sit him last night and see if Neto could bring something instead. Might be rough on his confidence. I think he has a shorter leash than Neto in some ways, although Neto probably has more DNP's.

Oh, man, all you Gobert lovers tune in to NBA TV right now. Commissioner Silver is having a breaking news press conference.

Seems NY Knicks beat reporter Frank Isola took this photo in the locker room of Rudy Gobert before the game. Career game, my ***, Gobert. Shoot me up with roids and I could score a career high 35, too.

Happy with your "victory," Jazz fans?

Remember January 20th 2016? I do...and you Jazz fans sure don't want to remember that day. I was at the Garden that night and I saw my Knicks knock the Jazz out of the playoffs.

Get ready for a repeat of that tonight.

Melo puts up an easy 30, Porzingis makes Gobert look like a midget, Coach Hornacek makes all Utah say, "Man, I wish that guy was here." Say goodbye to the playoffs, Jazz fans. We did it last year, we'll do it again this year.

Just a reminder, folks. Melo the Jazz killer lit you up. Put up the easiest 32 I ever did see. I went for a hot dog and came back and Melo already had 30. Going to do it again tonight.

Wore my Hayward shirt because I am so pumped for this game. (I actually do own one of these.)

And Jazz fans, after the game you'll be going right to NBA.com shop and you'll be buying one of these. Price is 27 dollars, I say Melo puts up more than the price of the shirt.

Porzingis from the last row!
And again!

I warned you, folks.

All kidding aside, my Knicks really are a top team. You are seeing that. We got a few bad calls from the refs that really sunk our season, but everybody who knows basketball knows the Knicks have been a great team this year. You are seeing that tonight. Take your loss tonight like men. Make no excuses.

Come on, son. You know your mouth breathing *** opened up a can of Dr. Pepper, sat on that tattered bean bag of yours and started feeling all smug and ****! You know this! But as usual, all of your posturing was just that. All of your predictions, once again, in perpetuity, came up empty. I was going to offer some action at the beginning of the game but you never respond.

Melo looked busted and old. He's like the Pontiac Aztek of that Knicks team...hell, even Kornheiser knows it.

While I love the kid, Porzingis, he's still not on Gobert's level. Besides, we know where his allegiance lies:

I also think there are some smart Knicks fans out there, you're just not one of them...

Please, GTFO.

Porzingis, he's still not on Gobert's level. .
Uhh, he's also still not on Gobert's age level.

You do realize Porzingis isn't even old enough to drink in America yet, and Gobert got his AARP card three years ago.

Regardless of that, there is not a basketball fan, a basketball GM, a basketball coach, or a basketball player that would take Gobert over Porzingis right now. Our guy is a mythical, magical unicorn...your guy is merely a frog.

Our guy is the best defensive player in the nba. And he rejected your unicorns soul then dunked on it's remains multiple times.

Good call, Dorkboy.

Don't make me laugh. James Harden plays stiffer defense than your guy.

Gobert is a decent player. Nothing more. You Jazz fans are delusional. You think Gobert is Bill Russell or Patrick Ewing. Hey, I bet you also think Gordon Hayward is Larry Bird.
:D
