I seriously can't think of a worse signing to a team that is on the upswing. You have Carmello, Amare, and Lin. You don't need anymore scoring.

He isn't a great 3pt shooter.

He is a terrible defender.

He is a chucker, the last thing you want when you have two bonafide scorers and a distributor.

The Knicks management is seriously one of the stupidest in the NBA. They lucked out with Lin, and now instead of building around him, Chandler, and Stoudemire, they invest in cancers like Melo and JR. Did they not see how poor the Nuggets were in the playoffs from 2005-2010?

I think they got to the Conference Finals against LA once with Mello. Not bad. They did have a lot of 1st round exits though.
