Kobe Bryant's Final Career Game will be VS the Jazz

I will pretty much guarantee Kobe will call it quits long before that game. Lakers are playing for a top 3 pick, and Kobe is a complete disgrace to the game right now. No way his ego can withstand this embarrassment for the rest of the season.

Have you seen a Laker's game? He basically laughs at himself when he air-balls. The crazy thing is the Laker's crowds are the best they have ever been. They go crazy when Kobe actually hits a shot. He nailed a clutch 3 tonight in the last minute to bring them within 1, then air-balled a three that would have tied it with under 10 seconds left. Normally Kobe would probably be pissed, but he was just laughing.

I feel a little foolish for hating him so much all these years. Listening to him talk at the press conference tonight he actually seems like a really good dude.

Calm down with the complete disgrace nonsense. I think he's earned the right to go out however he wants. It's in the best interest of the franchise that they suck anyways.

It's not like this is easy for him. I'm sure he doesn't like sucking. He's not going to just hang em up right tomorrow. He's gotta finish the season.

He is not.
Don't feel bad.

Seems pretty close to me. In no order: Jordan, Kareem, Russell, Wilt, Duncan, Shaq and Lebron(or soon at least) should all rank above him pretty clearly in my opinion. That's 7 guys already. The Magic/Bird duo depending on what you value - peaked higher but have some longevity issues. Then a whole slew of other guys you could debate: Hakeem, DrJ, Oscar, West, Malone, Dirk and I'm sure some others I'm forgetting. Have him 9th(7 I listed first and Hakeem) on my personal list.

Jordan, Kareem,Russel, Wilt, Duncan, Shaq and Lebron, sure.. I would add Bird and Magic and Hakeem personnally and then there is the issue of the Pre-Lebron, Big O...so that would put him just outside the top 10. Still the best SG after MJ by a wide margin though, so he gets into that "second all time 5" which remains a pretty neat achievement !

I want to see the Jazz send him off with an embarrassing loss. By 50 or so. Let him start his career how he began it. With airballs against the Jazz.

I rank kobes career ahead of shaqs career

I think Kobe is somewhere in the 10-15th best of all time. And Shaq >> Kobe.

Kobe had a much better career though. Shaq's peak was better, but Kobe actually tried in the 2nd half of his career unlike Shaq.

Ehh, can't really agree. I think people are too quick to discount how many high level seasons Shaq had before the 3peat. Kobe was at "star" level from '99 to '13 with Shaq doing it from '93 to '06 or so.

I guess the final game against the Jazz is completely apropos considering those airballs early in his career.
