Well, here is the summary of what McFly said I started. You be the judge who was being immature. And after this, several guys went on a tirade insulting me. I did ask the mods to close this thread, but apparently they approve of people insulting posters on here:
Write4u (Posted after seeing the interview and responding to some flip, vague comments about the KOC interview that were posted before I saw it, frustrating me because I wasn’t sure what he actually said):
Finally got to see the interview ... you guys suck as reporters. The last thing KOC said was: "We've said yes to nothing, and I think that's important for people to know." Hey, I've been a news reporter, so you try to get the exact quote because just one word off can change meaning. But he also did say that he couldn't guarantee AK wouldn't be traded and that they have been listening to proposals the last 48 hours. In other words, other parties are trying to interest the Jazz in becoming part of the deal -- which means they clearly said no to just Diaw and so Ross was added. Is everything simply contingent on Melo's decision to sign an extention? Doesn't sound like it to me, and it's not clear if Diaw and Ross would interest the Jazz either because they haven't said yes to that either.

McFly:
Because it's definitely our job to relay every word KOC said to you because you're too impatient to watch it an hour later on the internet. I even told you what he said in the preview and you accused me of being facetious. You think that makes me want to help you out further?
I hate you.
Write4u:
Yeah, I read that, but the way you put it, I couldn't tell whether or not you were serious. And all the comments that followed, made me doubt that you were, as well. You don't need to give the words verbatim. But if you said the Jazz are listening but have not agreed to the trade yet, that would've been enough. Well, I didn't get to see it until this morning. I checked after an hour and it wasn't up.
Furthermore, that statement was out of context, and a distortion of what KOC actually said overall. It's like a sound bite that P-R people use in political campaigns to discredit their opponent. You only hear half the comment which is not an accurate portrayal of the person's views or the reality of the situation.

Maybe you should start a new thread to show off your wicked reporting skills.

McFly:
Pennypacker? (McFly was Pennypacker, but for some reason, during the middle of this thread, requested to have his username changed) I'm not sure who you're talking about. Can you find any of his posts around here? Perhaps we could compare writing style.
And you're right, calling homosexuals gay is indeed a homophobic statement. In other news: Mexican people are Mexican.
