How good will he become? He already almost looks like Dirk in his prime.

Youngest player in NBA history to get 25pts and 10 Reb. Actually, he had 29 and 11.

Are we witnessing the birth of a new era of superstars? Guys like Porzingis, Drummond, Towns, etc.?

Could Porzingis be on the level of Kevin Durant? Last spring before the draft an American who played with Porzingis in Spain had this to say:

Marcus Landry, a former Wisconsin forward, played on the same team in Spain two years ago as Porzingis, and last year played against him. Here’s his effusive praise of Porzingis in the Journal Times:

“Honestly, I think Kristaps should be the No. 1 pick if you’re going to base it off potential,” Landry said. “I personally think he’s the best kid in the draft. And I’m not saying that because he’s a friend of mine.

“I know basketball. I’ve been in the NBA; I’ve been around NBA players. I’d tell you if he sucks. But he’s really good. If he goes beyond No. 2, that would be a mistake on some team’s part.”

“That’s very hard to do,” Landry said. “To me, there’s no one in the NBA like him. No one. But, if I had to compare him to anybody based on his potential, I would say — maybe he’s not going to fill it up as much — it would be Kevin Durant. He’s very much KD like.

“I know that’s saying a lot. But Kristaps can shoot over guys, he can put the ball on the floor for a big guy, he can pass well. Things Kevin Durant can do.”

I'm a big fan

^^^

The play at 2.18min .. his ability to make that 3pt shot as well as roll to the rim makes him Dirk like & unguardable.

The Knicks looked like they got screwed in the draft but they are the clear winner at this point.

Zinger sure can crack nets. The shot at 3:45 looks so Dirk-like.

They did not look like they screwed up. He was a HIGHLY regarded pick, and some hailed him as the best prospect in the draft. That 10 year old Knicks fan who cried at the draft because he didn't recognize the name does not set expectations. :p

Not screwed that they got Kristaps, just that they fell in the draft.

For all the talk about the shooting, he's made his biggest mark early on with his rebounding. Nice to see a youngster show that toughness early on the glass.

This is the infamous rant BTW .... LOL ...

He wanted: WCS, Justice Winslow or Stanley "Roberts"

What a douche. But I guess he's paid to act like a douche.
