What's new

Kyle Weaver

Because its all BS! There is no merit to his "opinion". Just cause some dude gets cut does not mean he does have skills or is a knuckle head. I dont think I need to tell you in the NBA buisness decisions are made (maynor) that dont make basketball since. So why do you come to this forum? You down with all the " Deron to Dallas" threads that idiots spam this board with. Or how about the "Jeremy Evans is the next KD" threads. Listen, its fine to have an opinion but if it stupid your *** is sure to be put on blast.

No I think those threads are a joke. But everything he said was not extreme and crazy like those.

Also I am sure OKC probably tried to trade him for at least a second round pick, but nobody wanted to even give a 2nd round pick for him.
Nothing about this is BS. It is a very good opinion. Before any team releases a player that they think a team will sign they offer a 2nd round pick. Its very common.

He probably wants more money than a Jeffers so not much chance we will see him here.
There is a lot of teams that are interested in Weaver right now (ten according to that twitter account). so that means he will probably be asking for more than what Jeffers is getting. No sure why this quote is crazy either.

I think people attacking each other on this board for reasonable comments happens more often than the crazy "Deron to Dallas" and "Evans the next KD" threads. More B.S. attacks rather than just stating why you disagree.

If you hate the extreme comments like you posted (most people do but you seem very angry about it) and you hate the reasonable opinions also than.............Why do you post here? That is probably 80-90 percent of this forum.

A wise man once said "Stupid is as stupid does." So you think that KOC "probably tried to trade for him" as it is common? You know what bro, I'm not going to even go back in forth with you. Go start a "we should have went after Lebron" thread and do something with your Saturday, ya dig?

I think you need to learn how to read. He never said WE tried to trade for him. He said the Thunder probably tried to trade him for a 2nd round pick. That is why he got released because nobody offered that. "Ya dig?" Read before you post. Or comprehend if you know how to.

Than you use an extreme example of we should of gone after Lebron when nobody here stated anything like that.

Seems like your taking your personal life out on Jazzfanz.

Damn it, I was hoping somebody had something valuable to say (no offense).

Kyle Weaver Rumors

Nothing comes up under Google News either.

I am sure that means he is holding out for a better deal. Maybe weighing his options after seeing that playing overseas pays more. He is probably just trying to create competition within NBA teams. Waiting doesn't hurt his stock until training camp starts.

Yo! Dumb MF. Check yourself. See that probably on bold? Talk about stupid.

You have to be the dumbest person on this board. Nobody was talking about KOC trying to trade for him! Get it through your retarded brain.

Your the only idiot who said that. You suggested that that one of us said "KOC probably tried to trade for him". Nobody said that.

The only thing that was suggested was that Thunder probably tried to trade him for a 2nd round pick.

Than you try and back track and say "I said PROBABLY". Which actually has nothing to do with this argument. You are actually too dumb to insult.

You inept monkey....I'll just leave at that.

If he really wants to develop into a good NBA player, he'll come sign with us and not worry about $$$. Ryan Thompson did...

This name-calling crap is why people stop posting on here. I wish people would just try to be civil, but instead too many people here react immaturely. I guess a couple times I have lost it, but only in reaction to absurb ad hominem attacks that are all too frequent on here. You don't have to call people names when you disagree. Just explain why you disagree and leave it at that.

Did we really sign him? I thought it was just an invite to camp?

Did we sign him to a non guaranteed contract?
Pretty sure the Jazz didn't sign him to anything other than a standard camp contract. Meaning, basically not having a contract.

Shut up looser

Perhaps him not getting a 2nd 10 day from the Jazz helped him more economically in the long run.
Spirou Basket officially announced today, April the 20th, the signing of swingman Kyle Weaver for the remainder of the season.

Weaver, who played his college ball at Washington State University and was drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats in 2008, logged 68 games in the NBA between the 2008-2009 and the 2009-2010 seasons for the Oklahoma City Thunder, averaging about 19 minutes-per-game.

Weaver was offered a contract by Maccabi Tel-Aviv last summer but turned it down in order to remain in the United States. It didn’t pan out as Weaver spent the entire season in the NBA’s Developmental League, defending the Iowa Energy and the Austin Toros. He was called up late, by the Utah Jazz on March the 30th, and appeared in five games, averaging 13.8 minutes-per-game, 5.6 points-per-game on 36% shooting and two rebounds-a-game. In the D-League, Weaver averaged 15.6 points-per-game and 5.6 rebounds-per-game over 37 appearances.

Spirou Basket currently leads the Ethias League, with its 22-4 record.

Good for him. This may mean he is in a position to earn more next season too (lockout).

I think you may see quite a few players looking to get on the gravy train in Europe or Asia if the lockout is long and protracted.
