I bet GH feels somewhat stupid now, having a guy recruit him to the Celtics only to see him get traded a month later. lol The cavs gotten stronger and no way in hell is the Celtics beating the Cavs this year.

Not to mention the incredible loyalty Ainge has demonstrated. I get it basketball is a business but at the same time, IT is coming off a year where his sister was killed in an accident during the playoffs and he didn't miss a single game, then needed his hip sewn back in, not to mention he's in a contract year. And Ainge goes full on heartless and ships him off to a rival. Like **** man. Ainge might send me to the Nets just for another pick at this point.

Not that the Jazz won't trade people, they traded D-Will I guess. But man seems like you're putting an awful lot of trust into someone who's loyalty is to one person: That ****in guy that he shared a chipotle burrito with at the airport.

Brad Stevens turned IT in a MVP candidate and top NBA scorer. WTF is he going to do with Kyrie Irving?

Exactly. Without his sister's accident it is a trade just like any other, but after IT's ordeal and dedication to the team it does look like a dick move. I wonder if that is going to have any effect in Ainge's efforts to try to lure other FA's to Boston.
 
There were talks of IT being a bit of a headcase in Phoenix and in his last years with Kings. Lots of players go through times where they are unhappy and are vocal about it. I doubt Kyrie isn't as coachable as Thomas.

To me flat-earthers don't seem like the coachable type, but I guess we'll see.

Ehh, what? He just wanted to test himself outside of being on Lebron's team. I think that is admirable and understandable given how much freaking power and control Lebron has on and off the court.

People want to insult KD for joining forces with other great players then **** on Kyrie for wanting to forge his own path?

I think Kyrie was probably like every other super-star. He probably got coddled and said "yes" to too much and probably has ego. But this is a dude who went to Duke. He wants to be coached. He has just had mediocre coaches. Stevens is a top tier coach and Hayward compliments him well.

If IT is healthy this makes Boston worse. I gotta feeling they are real worried about the hip. I honestly thought IT and Crowder for Kyrie is a fair deal... that BKN first is just too much when everyone knows they need to move him and they have other picks they could include. Zizic whatevs
 
I just think it's funny that Gordon signed on to play with the celtics and they've move like half their core.

IT was also critical in recruiting Hayward and horford and was all in on Boston... they gave him up for a guy who doesn't want to play with they best player in the world and they paid a premium to do so. If it was a can't pass deal I would get it but this is another example of why we shouldn't get too mad when players leave teams... gms and owners do some cold **** too.

You are kidding yourself if you think IT was the reason he went to Boston and that he was "critical" to getting Hayward.

Hayward to Boston: They are a good team in a ****ty division with a lot of assets and a good coach.
