Kyrie to Utah?

Kyrie wants Russell Westbrook usage #'s.

He ain't gonna get that in Utah.

Apparently playing with the most pass happy non PG superstar that ever lived isn't enough for him.

And oh yeah, he plays no D.

F him..

He probably would because we would have to give up every scorer on our team to get him. It would be Kyrie, Ingles, Sefolosha, Jerebko, and Gobert as our starters or some ****.

What scorers? We have Hood.

If you can make the trade happen around Rubio, Hood, and Exum, you do it.

I don't think that would be enough. But I think Irving's taking too much **** here. Let's bear in mind that Lebron's strategy since signing his first max contract has been to hold everyone hostage so he can have maximum leverage. Looks like that finally bit him, and if I was Kyrie, I wouldn't want my career hinging on Lebron's whims or Dan Gilbert's (whose idiocy cannot be overstated).

I was thinking it'd be more like Mitchell, Hood, Joe Johnson, and Derrick Favors. That's what I think it would take.

Irving isn't good. He is so damn overrated. You are trading for 2 years of Irving then going into another Hayward situation. The Cavs are a better team w/ him off the floor. He has just had some great moments in big time situations so people overrate him. If he doesnt have Lebron to carry him to those moments though his play leads to lottery fodder.

Irving makes 18.8M this year. Favors makes 12M, Johnson 10.505M, Hood 2.386M, and Mitchell 2.621M. That's 27.512M. It doesn't match-up in accordance with the CBA. Try again, Copernicus.

I suspect that some of those pieces would be going to a third team like the Knicks. I also don't think it would take all of that to get him. If the Cavs move Irving before the season, they ate not getting full value. I mean the draw is that the Jazz are probably the best possible team for Irving to succeed on. The question then becomes "is Irving the best possible match for the Utah Jazz?" I think that comes down to whether the team feels like they are going to go somewhere with Exum, Hood, and Favors. If those guys are iffy you consider a deal, especially if you can keep Mitchell.

Irving isn't coming here but what would be a real knee slapper is if they trade him to the celtics for Thomas, Tatum, Crowder pretty much match up salary wise.

(NEVER would happen).

Maybe Dragic and some picks?

I wouldnt give Mitchell but i would easily let Hood, Exum and Favors go for Irving. He has an extraordinary offensive talent. Even though he doesnt play defense or get lost at times, he is better than anyone in our current squad.

I'm as bigger Dante homer as there is on here...

But Irving is EXACTLY what this no offense Jazz team needs.

He will facilitate more (than in his King James era) if he is running the show completely.

Gobert/Irving > Hayward, Thomas, Horford, Smart etc. And more importantly, Irving/Gobert > Hayward/Gobert.

Favors and Exum should probably be on the table. The complication is that we just picked up Rubio, so he'd need to be moved somewhere. I'm a bit leery of a PG who thinks he's the man and needs to take 18 - 20+ shots every night. Irving is a guy that once racked up a 30:1 shots:assist ratio, which might infuriate Quin.

The Knicks aren't doing that deal if they have to give up a 1st but if you take it out of the equation, everyone might. The Cavs def would or should and I think the Knicks def would. The Suns would be the biggest question but dumping Bledsoe for the young Frankie would mean a full youth movement and "tank" which might be the best way to go.

You're right. Cleveland should give up a pick to Phx.

Phx out: Eric Bledsoe
Phx in: Ntilikina, Cle pick

Cle out: Irving, Shumpert, pick
Cle in: Bledsoe, Carmelo

NY out: Carmelo, Ntilikina
NY in: Kyrie

The team losing the best player isn't also sending a pick.

Yes, I'm the dumbass because you didn't mention it, Bitch Boy.
