The reason the ball was loose was with time running down on the game clock Bryant took the ball, lowered his shoulder and CLEARLY charged into a defender, but no whistle. Bryant had NO INTENTION of putting up a shot, as he never looked up. Upon contact the ball rolled away... That play to me has always defined 'super-star treatment'...

Correct. The crime in officiating took place in the 30 minutes of play prior to that shot, as well as later in Game 6. Horry's shot itself was simply the Kings inability to come up with the biggest rebound of the game.
