Lakers want Bell

Word is Rajas gained 40 pounds muscle. Gonna tell Ty the Sly to meet at the flag pole. Gonna settle this **** once and for all.

Amazing. How do the Lakers not know how bad he is this late in his career? How hard is it to ask someone in the know if Bell can still play?

I swear, some of the moves made in the NBA are dumb founding. How do these guys even have jobs?

The earliest pick the Jazz could get from the Lakers is a 2016 second round pick due to all the picks the Lakers sent to Phoenix and LA. I would still jump on that though.

Bell hasn't been all bad. When he's healthy and has the slightest amount of rhythm he has been a useful role player. I don't know if this time off will mean he's terribly out of shape or in great shape. What I do know is that Raja is a douche and didn't deserve the opportunities he got here and I don't wish him well.

If the Lakers want to trade expirings and throw in a draft pick, then sure. There is nothing else LA can gives us outside of that though.

I would think he is probably in as good as shape as a player can be without playing NBA basketball. Raja has always been dedicated to his body.

Yeah, I don't remember there being a way to match salaries unless another team got involved or... something.

I have given up on a trade, basically. If the Jazz can trade him, and especially if they can get ANYTHING of usefulness in the deal, it will be a miracle worthy of worship.

I don't really understand why people are so eager to trade Bell. We only have a half year left of him being on the "roster". I mean, basically the only way he gets traded is if someone is just outright able to take his contract or is able to swap expirings with an added draft pick.

The only team that has expressed wanting him has ZERO assets to trade. Unless they are willing to trade Earl Clark, who has been their only bright spot this season.

Lakers can't seem to do anything right lately. D'Antoni was such a horrible choice for them.
Go ahead add Bell, he'll add toughness. He'll push Kobe in practice.
