His contract is expiring at the end of the year as well. It makes a lot of sense to me.

I would not take him over Bojan. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t take him over Niang or Ilyasova, either. I was always so baffled with SAS signing him because he’s not SA material. I can only think this would be positive if LMA coming to the best team in the NBA would motivate him to push himself to help the team win a championship. But he went to SA in a move they felt would possibly keep them in title contention and he went completely limp. There are probably dozens of players who would have done more with that opportunity than LMA did. SA is completely out of contender status and LMA is a HUGE reason why, imho.

We don't need that here. For free is too expensive.
